This used to be a premier hotel when it opened about 20 years ago. Hyatt has usually been a reliable, safe brand to stay at. This middle-aged girl’s slip is showing. The room we stayed in was clean, and the bed was fine, but everything just seemed worn and outdated, from the weird room art to the very few USB ports. The bath/shower room was tiny. You literally had to press your back against the shower stall to close the outer door! And there was almost no water pressure - just a trickle, making it an ordeal to get clean and rinse off. If not for the relatively low price and convenient location, I would not have stayed at the Hyatt. The hotel had a poster up showing planned renovations. They cannot come too soon!

The hotel itself was nice and clean, but there were a few disappointments during my stay. The pool was closed, the TV remote didn’t work, and breakfast was hit or miss with some items warm and others cold. One employee was also rude to a guest, yelling about milk being left on the counter, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely room for improvement.

Stayed at this hotel once & one of the elevators was out of order. Shower head didn’t seem like it had been cleaned in a while. Stayed at the same hotel again a month later, elevator still broken…shower head looked dirty. Got a room on the top floor but room didn’t come with a microwave. Went to sleep and woke up with a paper under the door that said both elevators were out of order.

I came into town for work and booked a three-night stay at this hotel. The room itself was clean, which I appreciated, but nearly everything else about the experience was disappointing. At check-in I was told the pool was closed, which wasn’t an issue for me but could be for other guests. As I headed to my room, I noticed one of the two elevators was out of service, barricaded with caution tape, and sections of the hallway ceiling were covered in blue tape. The only working elevator broke down the next day it opened but wouldn’t move floors, so I reported it to the front desk. It was back working. Throughout the property there were advertisements for food service at the lobby bar, but when I went down after work to order dinner, I was told they were out of food entirely. On my last morning, I woke to a notice slipped under my door saying both elevators were now out of commission, and guests would need to use the stairwells. These were concrete, unventilated, and miserably hot given the weather, making it especially difficult for older guests or anyone with luggage or physical ailments. When I raised concerns at the front desk, the staff member brushed them off as coincidence and offered no assistance or solutions. No luggage help, just a sorry. A hotel should prioritize guest experience, especially accessibility, and having both elevators down with no support was unacceptable. While the room was fine, the rest of my stay left me frustrated and unwilling to return.
