We had to change rooms because of stains on the first bed. This was a bit off-putting especially in the midst of COVID. But the staff set us up with a replacement room promptly.

The staff was friendly, the lobby and room was clean.

The location was great which helpwd it be quiet. The day time staff qas very nice to work. The batheooms had no fan yhough and all the vents were very dusty causing me to have qn allergy flare up and get sick.

Property was adequate, but looked dated. At check in, requested extra blankets and was told “I’m not sure where those are...” and never made an effort to find one. When we took showers, we found the complementary toiletries were used and left over from he last guest. Also, a used towel was ha hung behind the door, which made me question the cleaning process of the rest of the room.

Great, simple, tidy place to stay with comfortable beds.

stayed there in Nov 2017, hot tub was broken. It is still not repaired.

When we arrived, and saw one person asking for towels and another for pillows, we should have known we may run into issues. But, we proceeded. When I asked for directions tot he elevator, was told they do not have one. As I was traveling with a handicapped person who did not need an accessible room but could not use the steps, we requested move to 1st floor. She did. We went to the room. Keys did not work. As got rekeyed, were told the pillows we saw given to the other guest were taken from our room, so they would bring us some. The room was dusty and there was a dead spider next to the tub (I later learned that there were spider webs in the tub as well.) Our room was right next to the door closest to the lobby and breakfast room, so starting at 6 a.m., that door slammed shut, loudly, repeatedly as the hotel was near capacity and there is no elevator. Slam. slam, slam. Breakfast was nice and the employee was great. The bed was comfortable. At check out, I asked to speak with the manager, who was mopping the floor. He was kind, and took my suggestions of staying NO ELEVATOR on the website and putting a sound-damper on the door. But since I had paid through a 3rd party (Orbitz), he only offered me a bottle of spring water as a "consolation" for the dirty, noisy room. If I'd only paid $50 for the room, I may have been less frustrated, since the Super 8 that I had NOT selected thinking La Quinta would be much nicer and worth more than twice the price, I was not pleased.

Best Western has a name for providing quality lodging in the lower price market for hotels. In recent years, when staying at properties in this price point, many hotels have been lacking. This Best Western exceeded my expectations in that it met my expectations for where a hotel such as this should be. A warm breakfast with eggs and sausage and biscuits was available. Our room seemed to have a mild stale cigarette smell, it went away after we came in and out a few times, making us think the room may not have been used during the work week. The location was clean and convenient. Nice looking pool and excercise room.

Everything was nice. Only thing, bathroom is small.

Very clean an updated. Breakfast was billed as “full” and it did have eggs but minimal other choices.
