The room smelled strongly like smoke and marijuana. We were offered a refund if we left, but everything nearby was booked. When checking out, no discount was offered. Just an apology. The smell was so bad, my son slept with a mask on. The stink was in our clothes, bags, coats, etc. We had to wash everything when we got home, and air out our bags outside.

The bathroom floors were worn around the tub from water leaking out because the shower curtain didn’t close all the way. The toilet seat had knicks and stains. The doors were not noise proof. Kids running wild everywhere, trash all over the gym machines and pea in the stairwell. The guy that checked us in was in such a hurry that before the credit card transaction was complete he had put the keys and credit card on the counter and just walked out of the office. Trash all over the parking lot. Not a pleasurable experience.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with eggs, sausage, pancakes and other breakfast foods. Employees were friendly and helpful!

Noise from hallway carried through to room easily. Would suggest better doors to soften those noises as well as consider soft closes doors so you don’t hear doors slamming when people are entering/exiting their rooms

The layout and decor were nice. Parking is easy. On check-in, there were notices up saying that the carpets were being cleaned "this week" and that they would therefore be entering our room during our stay to clean the carpet (no notice before our arrival). I asked about this because I would not want to stay there if the carpet was going to be cleaned during our (2-night, weekend) stay. The person working the front desk said this wouldn't apply to our room on the 2nd floor, only to 1st floor rooms, but seemed grumpy and unforthcoming with information generally. Breakfast was not very good (rubbery eggs, bitter coffee) and there were signs and staff asking it not to be taken out of the breakfast area on the mezzanine (i.e., back to our room), which did not seem very COVID-sensible. Shower curtain smelled like mildew and the room seemed to irritate my respiratory allergies. Soundproofing not great, heard a lot of sounds from the hallway even though the hotel wasn't very crowded (and there was light coming in all around the door all night, so obviously not a good seal). We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. Overall, adequate but not worth the price (even the price I paid on Orbitz that was significantly discounted from the rack rate).

The room was ok but did not like a barking dog in the room down the hall barking all night

It was very plain. Super clean. Super comfortable beds, kids loved the pool. It needs more character. Staff was great! Probably should give more options as far as soap in the bathroom, I’m allergic to coconut so maybe have another option available at the desk? I always bring my own but some do not. There was also food in the hallways from others eating, maybe have a special can for outside the door? Idk I’ve never seen anyone do that. The outside should probably match the inside.

The bathroom was spacious and the vanity was not in the same room as the toilet and bathtub so that someone else can use it even if there is a person in the shower. I liked that there was a microwave and refrigerator. I like that there was complimentary breakfast; although the server should be wearing a mask when preparing and serving the food.

Place was dirty. Our room had something caked on the carpet, found tape on the floor, and toilet paper roll was in the toilet when we arrived … clearly the elevator floor had not been cleaned in a long time.

They had the nicest and friendliest staff I would stay here again

Nice stay.

DIRTY

Good vibe at the pool, front desk was never busy, right next to the convention center!

Upon booking online I called 1st to make sure I had everything understood. It was told that the pool was open and you had to add a time to swim. Which was perfectly fine. I booked 2 rooms. When my party arrived the workers said only one of my rooms were ready and I could call down to see when the other one would be ready. After an Hour I tried using the room phone to call down to front desk but phone wouldn't work. I then go in the hall and lady was cleaning the room that I was waiting for. I waited over 3 hours for that room to be ready check in was at 3pm and second room wasn't ready until after 6 pm. Which I had a photoshoot starting at 6pm in that room that wasn't ready. Workers were really nice about everything and I do appreciate that part, but waiting over 3 hours with all my guest cramped up in one room just wasn't cool. The pool is another story. I was told at 8pm my 2 rooms could go down to swim not know it would be another 8 rooms of people swimming at the same time. Pool water was filthy. No one had on a mask it was just too small for that many people in such a small space, so we didn't even swim. During the whole stay NO one had on a mask besides workers. Everyone walked about the hotel without a mask so I know COVID rates will be back up soon

I look like that the hotel is in a good area lots of things close by. I didn't like how no one asked about cleaning our room.we stayed for 3 days. The pool was extremely cold felt like a pool full of ice.. that was a no for me
