It was cool to have a balcony, however interstate 75 is way too close and is noisy all night due to lack of noise isolation. Hotel is nice In general, clean tidy and mostly up to date.

Not what we expected

The hotel is older, so the finishings are not clean. We had a towel rack pulling off the wall. Shower is small and we thought we were going to fall thru with the curve in the floor. Bed was so very hard, and felt it all day. We were on the highway side which was very loud at night even though during the day it didn’t seem like it was. The Fifth bar/ restaurant downstairs had good food, and the best bartender. She was so nice and helpful! Would have like to try the roof restaurant, but I don’t think we will be back to stay.

The shower didn’t drain, while taking a shower the refrigerator didn’t work in the room, definitely outdated and they only had two elevators working when everyone in the hotel trying to use them, taking a long time to get to the rooms. Staff wasn’t friendly at all. Overall not a great experience at all. I know nothing will be done about it, but I hope they do something about this.

It horrible from check in. I was talked into staying here, because the event I was attending was here. The room appeared to be clean at first glance. But it actually dirty with a stale smell. Housekeeping had to come & deodorize. Ordered maid service & they told me ok. When I came back it wasn’t done. Told me they only clean rooms every 3 days. The last night there was a sewage issue & they whole downstairs smelled like a dumpster during our event. Then lastly i was charged for an early check in. I specifically asked if I would be charged. I asked for a late checkout & was charged for that as well. This was a horrible experience in lodging. Don’t book with this hotel. The only decent thing was the night manager Mike, who tried to make things right by offering a beverage ticket & breakfast ticket. I need much more compensation

Next Labor Day 2026 I will make sure I actually select a room with the view I was hoping to get for me and my son and reserve it way in advance. He's autistic, loves fireworks but not the loud sounds and the large crowd. This year the view required us to view the fireworks outside of the hotel. It's traditional with us so see you in 2026. Thank you
