Really modern and clean hotel, rooms and bathrooms are fabulous. “Continental” breakfast was atrocious! Dry bagels (not split, no knives to split with) English muffins, waffles, fruit, plain yogurt and cereal only. No proteins, no cheese, no pastries whatsoever, even coffee was removed by 10 am. Just awful. There should be an option to have breakfast included or not. We stayed 2 days and 2 nights.
I checked in the afternoon of 02/17/2021, and checked out the morning of 02/22/2021. Upon arrival, I immediately found a large plastic garbage bag broken and lying open in the parking area directly in front of the hotel; the trash lying on the ground. Entering the lobby I noticed a hotel guest walking her Pitbull dog around the lobby on a leash; later, the same quest walked the dog through the parking garage, allowing it to relieve itself by defecating on the garage floor. I advised the female clerk about the trash and what I had witnessed the dog do....she appeared uninterested; the trash was removed the next day. Checking into my room, (Rm 414), I found the light in the bathroom not working...the light was blinking like a strobe light, I also found that the phone next to the bed did not work and that the previous quests had left their underwear wrapped around the smoke detector. I informed the desk clerk, appeared disgruntled, moved me to another room, (Rm 416). Moving to Rm 416, I found feces smeared across the shower curtain, and reporting this to the same clerk, was moved to Rm 320. Room 320 did not have a remote control for the television; a different clerk, James, took interest in the problem and located one; the smoke detector was wrapped in a plastic bag, and when reported to the same disgruntled clerk, was given a ladder so "I" could fix it; the coupe de gras was the hairdryer exploding, throwing both flames and burnt pieces at the side of my head. A nightmare!!
