Waterfalls are fascinating. Lodge could be updated. Several meals in the dining room were carry out only. We understand about Covid.

The best part is the park and wonderful hiking trails.

It was a wonderful old lodge. The restaurant had a very limited menu as it was off-season.

Classic lodge feel wilt stone and wood decor. The entire place had a vintage feel. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was very good. Staff and guests were very friendly and helpful.

It was great to be able to walk out the door and go for a hike but the room smelled bad and the food at the restaurant is truly terrible. The closest alternative for food was quite far

Nice patio with ample seating and a gorgeous view. Room was very basic and due for updated furnishings. Mattress was ok, not great. I did eat at the restaurant. I am not a picky eater and assumed the other poor reviews I read were from picky eaters. They were right, I was wrong. I tried many things on the dinner buffet and nothing was good. From the soup to the dessert, the food was either flavorless, off temperature, or not very fresh looking. All of it appeared like it came out of a can, bag, or box and was just warmed up. The number of dead bugs in the light fixtures and smudges on the windows (which ruined the spectacular view) were unappetizing and reflected an overall lack of attention to detail, which made me wonder what other details were being ignored. The breakfast was ok. The proximity to the falls was great, but I consider staying there a one and done experience.

Roos too small and need updating. No cell service in this day and age is inexcusable

Liked the falls don’t like reviews. Rude people slamming doors at night and morning.

The location was convenient, the breakfast staff was pleasant. The room was disappointing in cleanliness, food from a previous guest was still in the fridge, the black out shades were torn as was the lamp shade, the bathroom ceiling has mold and the air conditioner didn’t work. The pool was dark and there was standing water all along the outside you had to walk through.

Awesome clean friendly beautiful place. Highly recommended to anyone want a relax quiet tone.

The resort is located in an unbelievably beautiful area very close to the Cumberland Falls. It really can't get much prettier than this. I also liked the room I had very much. It was half of a cabin style building, away from the main resort building.

Needs lots of updates but not too bad overall. The location is, of course, convenient to Cumberland Falls.

Super thoughtful and easy staff. Wish we has time to explore the grounds in the camping area a little more. We stayed in the Lodge. The surrounding area is beautiful as well.

Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The young lady that checked us in was very nice!

Foods at the restaurant had no flavor and no variety

Cabin was very comfortable. However, guests should be warned that cabins have many steps!

We loved the lodge at Cumberland Falls state park. It is only a .75 mile hike to the falls directly below, and the hike is gorgeous. You can also drive to the falls. The staff were great and very accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the rooms was clean. We would love to stay here again.
