We had a cabin with 2 double beds— very clean, refrigerator, good a/c, coffee maker. Comfy beds with 4 nice pillows! Not updated by modern standards but very nice! 1/2 mile from the very cool Cumberland Falls overlooks.

We love visiting the Falls… It’s unfortunate. The lodge is being renovated and everything is closed right now because we had to drive pretty far to get food that wasn’t from a concession stand… But we understand and we will be back I enjoy the rustic experience, but Hopefully the cabins are all next for renovations as well.

I would not recommend staying in the Woodlands. Inside has not been remodeled and did not reflect the pictures on Expedia. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and I could hear the people in the adjoining room’s conversations pretty clearly. This did not make for a pleasant stay.

With the Lodge under renovation dining options limited onsite and locally. Trails in need of some attention. Room could use an update but clean and functional. Until the lodge reopens bring food to grill. Staff was very helpful. Worth the trip!

Staff was the best part of the stay. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The Lodge was under renovation so we stayed in a cabin. Loved that there was a kitchenette. Although dated, the cabins were clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding were also comfortable with plenty of pillows.
