It's a Fairfield. The degree of comfort and quietness depends on what season it is (i.e. travel, holiday?). That will influence the crowdedness of the hotel . This was our second visit within a few months, stayed seven nights (first time stayed six--a work asignment). The hotel was basically clean, HVAC a little noisy and hard to keep temperatures stable-->need digital!}. Sometimes communications with the front desk people were not consistent, depended on who was staffing. The outside doors are accessed with the room key card. At times I would find them propped open with a small rock (the one on the west end). Not the most secure feeling in the word. Housekeeping was efficient. Time of servicing the room varied, so unpredictable at best. Standard breakfast fare as one would expect at an entry-level hotel. We would stay there again. It's probably the best of the bunch at exit 29 off I-75.
On a recent road trip, I just needed a place to stay for the night, nothing fancy. I decided to stay here because they accepted Marriott points. I was very pleased with how friendly the staff was and how clean my room was. I felt I could even walk around my room barefoot! The shower was nice and the bed was comfortable. If you just need a place to stay for the night, definitely consider this property!
Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was very good and hot. Waffle maker was very popular. We asked for a roll away bed and the staff had it set up in the room upon our arrival.
We arrived very late 1:00am and the manager was very accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the (free) breakfast was great! We were on a road trip and in need of some sleep... it's right off the highway, but you don't hear highway traffic! I would recommend for anyone passing through looking for a place to spend a night.
Well this hotel is one that has shown its willingness to go above and beyond for its customers. During my stay I brought a pillow to the hotel and its one that I use all the time at home. Well, after we departed the hotel we got about 1 hour from the Fairfield Inn and it dawned on me that I forgot it. The next day I called the hotel and they located it for me. I asked that either my sister-in-law could get it as she lives 1 hour away or if possible they could mail it to me. Well, the service desk attendant said it ould ne no problem for them to get it to me. Well today it arrived in the mail. This concern for their customers is why I have been a loyal Marriott Hotel customer for 20 years. This Corbin Marriott has been there for a number of years, is conveniently located to Corbin and surrounding area and the price is right. If you ever have the chance to stay there I highly recommend. it
Nicely located near gas station and restaurants to include cracker barrel. The room was spacious...seemed huge actually! Didnt appreciate that the curtwins do not close and it is see through. We were on the first floor facing another hotel/parking lot. Breakfast was free continental and was delicious! We had waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, apple juice, fresh water basked in cucumbers. The business center consists of one computer located in the lobby. Took me 20 minutes to log into my email and print. When it printed it was grainy but hey...it worked. Staff is super friendly!!
Our room was SPOTLESS - which is definitely hard to find. We travel monthly and this was, by far, the cleanest hotel / room we have stayed in! The most impressive thing - I left 2 small leather bags containing some expensive hair and face products. We had traveled 2 hours by the time housekeeping found them and turned them in. I received a call from the extremely friendly front desk gentleman letting me know that he would have them shipped to me free of charge!
What more can you ask for when traveling? Room was large, bed comfy, lots of cable channels, good hot breakfast. There is a pool indoors and area appears clean. I would stay again. Oh, and staff was friendly.
He staff was excellent but the rooms were small with limited seating and provided full size beds instead of queen size. Breakfast was good and food was hot. Coffee was great. Easy on/off the interstate but dining facilities were minimal in the immediate area.
I confess, I'm extremely fussy about hotel stays. They must be immaculately clean, safe, welcoming, and quiet. Well, this place meets my requirements and exceeds them. The two ladies at the front desk, Tammy and Hollie, went out of their way to make sure I had just the right room. (I felt a little like Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory and demanding the perfect spot on the couch). My fussiness didn't frustrate them one bit! We highly recommend this location. There's a Cracker Barrel directly across the street.
