We had a wonderful stay here! Took a couple of days to check out the Big South Fork and surrounding areas. Conveniently located near Cumberland falls, and the eastern entrance of the BSF. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The rooms are newly remodeled and clean. Room came with a larger size mini fridge and a microwave. I would highly recommend staying here!

Unfortunately I pushed to stay on a Thursday instead of a Friday and we paid extra per person for the insurance in case something happened and we couldn't make it. When went to check in on the Friday general manager stated that we were supposed to be there the day before that I should contact Expedia about the mix up and I should go through their website instead that Expedia charges more. When I gave my credit card they charged me for 2 nights when we only stayed 1 night. So as soon as we got to our room I contacted Expedia about them charging us for 2 nights, they contacted general manager and asked to refund us for the night we didn't stay and the manager of the hotel refused. I tried to contact general manager or owner and was told they weren't there they would call back. No call back but the next day I was refunded only the money we paid for the insurance that was supposed to protect us from any unforseen incidents. We were charged $100 for a night we didn't stay. NOT DECENT PEOPLE!!!

Check in took a bit long, but the couple running it were nice. Room was nicer than expected and everything seemed quite clean. Pretty short on amenities, really missed my coffee and basically no breakfast.

This was our second time staying here this year. It was a great stop both times- comfortable beds, AC was cranking so well, the updates look so nice, and there’s so many places for charging devices! The staff was also great to see and interact with. We didn’t have an issues at all and they are so friendly and greet you like friends! We will definitely stay here again when we come out or through this way.

The staff was friendly and that for me was the only good thing about this place. Filthy and i mean filthy. And the worst part was roaches. And they knew they had roaches! They say they are new owners and improving it but its not safe. No deadbolt. I made the mistake of walking barefoot and one trip across the floor turned my feet black. Full view around the door its gapped so wide. I could go on but all i want is a refund. I stayed up all night left my things in the car and waited til sun came up amd left. Horrid gross and so unprofessionalnto rent rooms while you have a roach infestation
