Housekeeping got caught!
Enjoyed our stay! We arrived early and check to see if the cottage was ready for check in and it was! The lady at the desk was super nice and friendly. Once arriving at our cottage I was concerned it wasn’t ready due to 2 cleaning golf carts sitting in the driveway. Three of us went in and the rest stayed in the car. I opened the door and to my surprise there was 3 cleaning ladies in the cottage. One ways laying on the couch, one was propped up on the loveseat and one was sitting in the chair. They were watching TV and had microwaved some food, which made the cottage smell badly. However, after opening windows and a little spray it smelled a lot better. There was no reason to give lower than a 5, since I am certain this is not something that happens all the time! They just got caught. We are definitely planning on going back and would love staying in the same cottage.

Stayed here for 1 night. It was alright. Would I stay here again? Ehhh I would check other options first. The property is very old and outdated. Staff at the front desk said they’d been open since 1949, and it’s clear not much has been done since then. We killed several bugs in our room (not bed bugs) and the weather strip around the door was half gone, so we stuffed it with tissues to keep other bugs and wind out. I refused to let my bare feet touch the carpet in the room. However, the bed and bathroom were surprisingly very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our favorite part of our stay was watching Clyde the raccoon scurry around the property.

This is our 3rd stay at this property. We purposely choose our route so we can stay here. It's a great spot to relax after hours of driving. The view is awesome, the rooms are clean, the staff is courteous and helpful. The restaurant is convenient and the breakfast buffet was very good. Our server even got my eggs done the way I like them, since I don't like scrambled eggs. We will stop again when we go that direction again.

Overall the cottage was nice. Lots of room to spread out Not like a motel room But. Inside decor and beds need some help. Both lamp shades in bedroom are full of multiple holes and the mattress should have been put in dumpster. It’s not the Waldorf but for a lake cabin was fine and met our needs. The lake property is beautiful and makes up for the other problems ten fold

This is a very large resort park. Lodge rooms mostly face the lake. Full size golf course and Marina and beach. There are 3 types of cabins, standard, deluxe and executive.1bedroom to 4 bedrooms can accommodate any size family or group. My husband and I stayed in a standard 1 bedroom. These are the oldest units but have been updated inside. Clean with nice towels, TV, and good queen size bed. Kitchen was small but has the basics. The staff from check in to Marina workers and maintenance crew were helpful and friendly.
