Not terrible for a one night stay

We chose this property since we stayed once before. This time 2year difference the place is in need of some repairs. They need to do some updating not only to the rooms but the outside of the place. The pool are ( we didn’t use) looks nice, but the overall look of the place is outdated.

Felt unsafe as the hotel is open on all sides for access by anyone. Found the ice maker and 2 cups left on the floor by the counter where the faucets are located outside of the bathroom. Air conditioner was attached to the bottom of the window and water was running down from it in the walkway to the room. No elevator available for second floor.

I made a mistake and reserved a room at the wrong hotel. But, I thought to myself "how bad can it be", "they still have a pool, right. I noticed there was quite a bit of outside activity when I got to my room with some guy cooking out on the grill next to the pool, I thought that's ok. But, after my husband and I returned from dinner and a little shopping around 10pm I couldn't believe how many people were sitting outside their rooms in a chairs just chilling out. It was a little scary tbh. And once we got settled in and ready to take a shower and get in bed my husband yelled that he just killed a roach l. A roach, not me. So, I would have to give this a rating of 1-2. I wish I could give a higher score but, I just bring myself to do it.
