I understand this is an older hotel, but no upkeep of the property at all. Our room, the shower was clog, the dried was falling off the wall, and the tv needed adjustments
Location of this property was ideal for why we were in the area. It however was old, no phone in the room, no working ice machine, old, out dated. The AC was disgusting and only blew very cold air and was right next to the bed. The sea water had corroded the door and didn’t a proper seal causing light, noise and hot air to come through. Would not stay here again.
Booked 2 rooms, 1 room had tub that wouldn't drain other room fridge leaked water. No proper walkway to rooms we walked through landscaping. I felt they had new sections where they could have put us instead we were in back in an older section. In the pictures it looked like they were beach front rooms and they weren't.
Double bed room. A/C dose not cool off the room enough.if you are on next to the AC bed you freeze if you are on other bed you do not get cool enough. Front desk person was not friendly.
This use to be a very nice hotel but they have not taken care of it & is in need of a lot of work!! REMODEL is needed!! If you plan on closing the hotel at least take care of it for the guest who have stayed there year after year!! Looks like we will be staying somewhere else next year! The hot tub was closed, the fire pits closed, no more lounge chair rentals & no pool float hut for purchases. Also closed down the gift shop & still charged us a fortune!! We should have checked out & went somewhere else if I thought I could find another hotel!! So sad, come on you had a good thing going there what happened????
Very Good
I wasn't expecting too much when I booked the room but it was next to the beach and convenient. Based on the pictures online it looked good enough. When I got there my 7yr old said "this It was terrible", and he was right. The door lock was loose, bedding was stained, floor buckled, bath tub was peeling thick layers of paint and got clogged with first and only use. It looked like a run down motel in a bad area used for shady business. This place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Maybe there waiting for a hurricane. It was so bad I cancelled my reservation and got a room across the street and so glad I did.
Front desk and cleaning staff were great and accommodating. My biggest (and really only) complaint was that the door to the room (room 1165) was not secure due to the extreme rust and deterioration of the door and door jamb. It was difficult to shut securely and appeared open from the outside. One hard push was all it would take to open without a key. But again, everything else was great!
A trip to Copa Beach included for adults and one child we had two rooms reserved one for my husband and I and our seven-year-old the other for my 76-year-old grandmother and my mother my grandmothers in my mothers room was totally disgusting the plug-ins did not work and went into the wall it was sticky every surface the couch was stand you couldn’t tell if it was new stains old stains totally disgusting the whole bed was broken the frame was totally caved in the toilet didn’t flush so we ended up moving them up to our room at 11 o’clock at night the first night we arrived we went down to the desk and ask them for two cards to be brought it to our room they only brought us one every time we asked for new sheets or towels they brought us the wrong things for half the time they didn’t answer the front desk phone our room had holes in the wall outlets that when you plug things and they would go into the wall or they would start sparking the whole place was totally disgusting and you’d walk past the other buildings to go towards the pool there was wire fixtures hanging out of walls that people could trip on it was very unsafe very unclean weird seeing needle things by the park benches and one lady was mentioning that there’s crack pipes by her room the balcony next to us reeked of marijuana we literally watched somebody from our balcony to take a poop in the bushes food was absolutely disgusting down at the restaurant the staff and people in the area were so rude! Never again!
It was close to Port Canaveral. The property is old and outdated. My room said for 5 people was could only sleep 2 people
The promanade between the different parts of the property was nice. Check-in was slow (I know about staffing issues), lighting around certain parts of the property was non-existent, and vending machines only in the lobby is not good for such a big property.
We checked in during an extremely busy time and the hotel seemed very understaffed. We appreciate that Wanda at the front desk went out of her way to help us out. The property had a lot of amenities that would be appreciated by families with children (the splash pad and pool, games) or kids on spring break (hot tub, weights room, tiki bar) and was conveniently right next to a park. The rooms were clean but in need of remodeling (the sink was broken, there were large gaps under the doors...).
I liked that its on the beach with 2 bars. The housekeeping service was not good the sink drained slow.
