Nice location, very friendly staff, easy beach access, very nice pool area

The bedroom had roaches all over. The rooms didn’t look like the photos online.

At check in the lobby had me very hopeful, its clean, energetic and the check-in crew are awesome, upbeat and welcoming. THEN, we got to the room, ugh. It's what you expect from a 'budget' hotel. It didn't 'feel' clean, the grout in the shower was supposed to be off-white but was black, the floor on the lower level was imitation wood tile but also had stains (not sure how) and just smelled musty and stale. The good news for us, we weren't staying there. We had our main hotel in Orlando and just rented a room for the day to have a place to shower after the beach and access to a pool. Beach access was super close and next to a public beach with lifeguard. The pool was also nice and was fitting of a higher quality hotel than he rest of the property EXCEPT the kids area. The pirate ship seen in the advertisement is basically a real shipwreck. The slides have a weird drop at the end onto a concrete landing, the water cannons didn't work and overall seemed to line up with the quality of the room. In short, i would NEVER actually stay at this hotel, but for how we used it, it was serviceable. For a family on a budget you can get by, but just beware that the hotel will not add to the experience.

The location is great! It has direct access to the beach, passing a ticki bar. It has a recreational pool area for the kids that is really nice. However, the hotel is looking old. The painting in the stairs and walls is coming off.

Rooms are run down. Need to remodel bathrooms. Rate is too expensive.

Proximity to the beach was nice and the price was right.

This Resort is old which is not a problem. The issue is that it’s not being kept up. Different color paint on the walls where repairs have been made, bathtub had been resurfaced which was coming off just to name a few things.

Outside property is beautiful. Nice big pool, lots of things for kids to do. Nightly fire pit with smores. Our room was not ok. The furnishings were all scratched up. The floor had a gritty feeling. I took a damp clean white towel and wiped the floor. The towel was black with dirt. Water dripped from the tub all night. And the air conditioner was so loud. The pillows were tiny white marshmallows, not even standard size. We could not sleep so we woke up at 0330 and left. Will not be going back. Cost way too much for sub optimal conditions.

Very nice location, great resort and very nice on site amenities, very nice beach side restaurant with great food highly recommended resort. What I did not liked was the long line at check in short staffed, various complains from the customers waiting in line:

The beach area, restaurant, and pools were nice. Everything else was lackluster to downright grimy or frightening. Lots of drunken shouting all night long.

Everyone was sweet. Property out dated but very comfortable. Only one place to eat on propeery which service was not great, but there is a Denny 's accroas the street service again not great but affordable. Closs to other places to eat, car or bus wise.

The kids play area with the water pirate ship was a huge hit with my kids. The service in the bar and restaurant areas were great. The majority of the hotel staff that we encountered did not speak English but they were all very nice. We had a difficult time with our key card at the pool gate. It took several attempts and lots of jiggling each time we visited the pool to get in.

Would loved to have stayed longer an taken in all the things to do at the Resort.

Overall we had a great experience here. The proximity to the Ocean is fantastic! Only had to walk down the flight of stairs walk over a sand dune and we were on the beach. The only thing we disliked was that the room and property grounds were very dated.

Pool area needs work , update of hospitality offers lagging need to offer breakfast and lobby beverages no charge . Room coffee was great in 1990 not so much now.
