The room was a good size, but it was across from a tiki bar. On weekends, music played until 11 p.m., and on Thursdays, they were unloading supplies for the bar all night long. There was no soundproofing at all. So you won't sleep. We got a discount on lunch at the tiki bar, but that was only one time, and the food was terrible. If you're looking for a family room, it's not worth it. But regular rooms look much better

We had a wonderful stay at Gilbert’s Resort. Although the weather was unusually chilly during our visit, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They were incredibly accommodating and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere despite the unexpected cold snap. Their positive attitude and helpfulness truly made a difference and turned what could have been a disappointing weather experience into a very enjoyable stay. We truly appreciated the level of service and would gladly return.

It wasn’t worth the price. Friday night the bar is shut down at 8:30. They originally said they were shutting down at 11 o’clock. I’ve stayed in a lot nicer places that didn’t cost nearly what this place cost and there areno amenities.
