Ramada Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port

Cruise in and out hotel worth it

Like a lot of local hotels, it fills up on weekends with people coming in and out for cruises. They are updating and our room was not bad at all, just needed new carpeting. Since they offer airport and cruise port transfers, the inflated weekend price does even out. Most people on our Sunday morning were trying to get to ships and they were very congested but they did work fairly well to move people. Breakfast was crowded but it was average hotel/motel complimentary breakfast fare and quality. Overall, we were happy with the stay.

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort

Great location, upscale resort.

Outstanding service and cleanliness. Entire staff is very friendly. Great for families or couples. Location couldn't be better for local bars and restaurants, or take the trolley downtown. The broadwalk is packed with activity. We've been twice and will go back again. Great retreat from the cold!

Comfort Suites Sawgrass

Convenient

Basic hotel. Convenient to family. Enjoyed the make-your-own waffles. Hot breakfast (eggs, etc) could be better.

Days Inn Hollywood Airport South

Fine for quick stay

We stayed overnight leaving for cruise next day. Pros: convenient location walk to tri -rail, McDonald's/ Denny next door, friendly staff. Cons: damaged furniture/walls, cleanliness - stains on comforter, toothpaste in sink, grout in places dark with mold, stains on carpet. Would only recommend for quick stay otherwise i would spend money elsewhere.
