Needs a major renovation and a more attentive housekeeping staff.

Like the convenience and atmosphere... Would like a microwave and more options for coffee throughout the day/night.

Good in town location. Service was great, facility lovely, pool nice but across the street (not a problem). Long walk to the beach, many good restaurants in neighborhood.

need new mattresses. They were too soft . Good location, but rooms need updates badly.

Right on the boulevard full of restaurants easily walkable. The pool is located right next to the river but you really don't get to see it because it's blocked by plants and fence but you also get the smoke of the boats going by. The bed was a little worn out but the rest of the hotel was very quaint.

We love the upgrades they continue to offer as far as amenities. One of our favorite hotels. We cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful, high end hotel but with great price. Front desk Maria was very welcoming in the front desk. Onsite restaurant was awesome, DJ the waiter was wonderful.

Good hotel, close to the Science Museum . We took Brightline train from West Palm, and Uber to hotel-1 night stay. Less than 1 mile from Brightline! Central location, walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Fun nightlife. Quiet hotel room, clean, cozy and comfortable. Will return there!

Hotel experience was not what was expected from beginning to end. First front desk could not find my reservation even after I called several days earlier to confirm. Then my reservation was under the wrong name. The hotel rooms needed to be remodeled. There was plaster falling off the walls, the door hinges were rusty, the water was yellow and was not pleasing. There was a huge waterbug in the room. Paid for valet parking and was still billed at end of stay. Had to rectify with front desk situation. Was just not pleasing to stay there. There was always a situation and money owed for something and all I got in answer to why I was being billed for something was the answer it’s for incidentals when they already put $200.00 of my money on hold. Then they gave me a $30.00 credit for food and drinks and it was used for valet parking which was already paid for and not told to me. I would not revisit this hotel again and will defitnetly not recommend it to my friends or family. Not a happy customer.

We stayed here on a night after a cruise. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself had great character. There were also rstaurants right on site that seemed very good. I would recommend this hotel.

This stately old hotel has been lovingly maintained and modernized. The local is great, easy access even by foot, to many places, including the lovely riverwalk area basically right in the backyard of the hotel. The pool area was very picturesque, right next to the river. The front desk staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The shuttle to the cruise ship terminal was efficient and inexpensive ($8 per person!).

We had just gotten off of our Caribbean cruise and we got to the hotel at 9:30 AM. Our check-in time wasn't until 3 PM but the hotel got us into our room anyway which was a major help to us. They also let us check-out the next day at 1:30 PM instead of 11 AM due to our later flight. Once again, that was a major help to us. The hotel itself is right next to the River Walk and in a GREAT location. It is has some good restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend taking the Carrie B. river boat tour which is very close by and would highly recommend eating at the Big City Tavern which is right across the street from the hotel. If we make it back to Fort Lauderdale for another cruise we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great hotel for walking to restaurants and shopping.

lVery nice stay over the holidays. A coupe issues solved very nicely by the friendly staff. Go out to breakfast --very expensive, not great--read the small print !! Overall a great place to stay. Beautifully decorated for the holidays.

the hotel is old, needs to be renovated. The carpet smells and feels old

Downtown in walking distance to restaurants and shops. Staff courteous and prompt. Will return.

Very good location on Las Olas. However, rooms have a moldy/musty smell. Restaurant was good.

Very nice stay. Clean, friendly close to water taxi, has dining and bar on property Many dining and bar areas on street. Beautiful area enjoyed my stay.

Nice for a night out on Las Olas. Plenty of places to dine within walking distance.
