Large comfortable room with great riverside view.

I stayed in tower. Rooms there are spacious an well appointed. Restaurants are excellent. Hotel (at least when you stay in the tower) is much better than Orbitz rating would suggest. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great location within walking distance to riverwalk and to pick up water taxi. Room was big, bathroom could have been a bit bigger! Great service and really nice lobby to relax and have a drink.

The hotel is great, the staff is very helpful and friendly. I tried to stay actives much as possible, went Jet Skiing, took a helicopter ride around the city, took segway tour, and went on Go Karts. Besides that went by the beach where they have bunch of restaurants and different types of small stores.

This was our 4th visit to the Riverside!! Love it!!

We had a great experience at Riverside Hotel. The old Florida ambiance was beautiful. Being right on Las Olas gives you so many options for food, entertainment, and shopping. I also want to say that the customer service was fantastic there was a problem with our room and they immediately and courteously found us another room- and it was an upgrade. I have literally only one complaint: the beds are not that amazingly comfortable, but not terrible, either. We would definitely go back.

Hotel was very nice and a great location. We had a tower room with a nice view but no balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only 2 negatives was the pool location across the street and only valet parking is available. Ate at the Floridian which was a nice walk away but best value on Las Olas. It has diner food with a great breakfast.

Lovely hotel exceeded our expectations, great for family, food on site was excellent and bartender friendly. Had to combine two separate reservations and that took quite a bit of time at front desk. Second night there was a wedding on the terrace we could see from our room until after 11 PM that was very loud with thumping bass, would recommend hotel but ask about being located away from events venue.

Lovely older hotel in prime spot on Las Olas Blvd. Easy access to shopping, dining and had an art fair when we were there. Room was great, spacious and well-appointed. Only issue was that there was a wedding being held one floor above us and they played very loud music until 11:30 at night which made it hard for our kids to sleep. If there is an event, you want to ask for floor above 9 to avoid this problem.

Stayed one night at the Riverside before embarkation at Port Everglades. I had a nice room in the old building. Clean modern bathroom with good sundries. The location is great for walking and dining/nightlife. Not so close to the beach, however. They have a pool overlooking the river with bar/lunch service. The porter arranged a van for us and two other couples to the port, which worked out cheaper than individual taxis.

Boyfriend and I had to fly in for a last-minute adventure. Booking was difficult to attempt via phone and I only spoke with one friendly staff member who suggested that a third party booking may save me some money after I explained our situation. We cabbed it in and by the way, if you cab from FLL here, make sure to have your GPS available so that they don't attempt to bamboozle you. Check-in was quick and easy, there was a noisy reunion going on, but didn't make it difficult to get us situated. Our room had a noisy A/C, but its an older room, in the original 1936 floors, so I was okay with not completely being updated. I was upset that our safe didn't work, and the front desk couldn't explain to me how to power it on for usage. Slept great. Restaurant was great. However, do not attempt to get a simple soda at the bar after 11pm, they were a bit rude. Other than that, our stay was lovely!

Other than our room not being available due to a concert block party down the street. Everything was great

Great location. No car needed. Could walk to many, many restaurants.

Bottom line description: Clean rooms and common spaces, excellent, attentive, friendly staff, tasteful furnishings, and superb communication by employees with a guest-centered focus. We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable, well kept, clean hotel. Note that parking will be an extra expense (about $21/day for the adjoining parking garage), but with the very reasonable price of rooms at the Riverside hotel, this necessary add-on for those who have a car is not overly burdensome. I was told that a remodeling project is in the works for hotel rooms, which surprised me, given the fine shape that the hotel is in. A family enterprise, as opposed to a franchise or chain, the owners obviously care a great deal about maintaining their popularity and desirability. Wonderful location on Las Olas Blvd, in the heart of a vibrant retail and commercial district with many high quality amenities nearby. Only 2 miles to the beach, you can see the historic Stranahan House next door and take a stroll on the public river walk as boats and yachts traverse the busy waterway just yards away.

I stayed here for a weekend getaway with 3 friends. Overall, the stay was great. My only complaint is that when I booked the hotel, the advertising said that the room was on the water, however the beach is actually 2 miles away. Parking is a little steep as well for guests.

Wonderful! The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the location was amazing. The hotel is located in Downtown Las Olas so we could walk to restaurants, shops, and the park. We only stayed one night, next time we visit we will definately stay longer.

Great location - in the middle of Las Olas. Dining, shopping, or just walking near the river

It is a getaway with a night life convenient to everything. Loved every moment of every second we were there for an entire week. It is beautiful, well situated, old glamour with updated conveniences. I did not want to leave.

Hotel was Ok, apparently we stayed in the old side, really small bathroom.

As always before, the experience was Outstanding!.
