We stayed for a family funeral. The front desk staff was very nice even though there were many problems with this hotel. 1st, Pet hair and paw prints on the comforter. The staff was to come change the bedding but instead just put new linen on top of the dirty comforter. 2nd, Restaurant napkins were badly stained with food residue & silverware was dirty. 3rd, waiter for brunch smelled strongly like alcohol, yuck! 4th, towels and washcloths complete with stains and hair! When I asked for new linen, they staff person acknowledged the problem and said they "bring their own linen when they stay at hotels." So to sum things up, if this was the last hotel in America, we would sleep outside in a tent.

We traveled to Tallahassee for a weekend wedding anniversary and booked ahead at this hotel. The room was nice and clean and hotel location was fine for our trip. We paid an extra room fee to have breakfast included however, the breakfast was terrible. We ate breakfast both mornings between 9 - 10 a.m. On Saturday morning we went to the breakfast buffet. The scrambled eggs were dried out from sitting under the heat lamps so long. I got a pint carton of chocolate milk from the iced containers where they were offered and when I poured it into my glass and took a sip, it was soured. I looked at the expiration date and it had expired 4 days earlier. I chose a carton of yogurt from the iced containers where they were offered and it too was soured. On Sunday morning, when we ate breakfast there were only 4 other people eating at the same time as us. The scrambled egg pan was completely empty and was never refilled even at our request, the waitress/hostess never checked back on us after bringing our initial beverage order even though we needed refills on our water, and the waffle batter on the buffet was full of water so the waffles did not bake properly. The breakfast both mornings was a terrible experience! The room cleaning staff were very nice and helpful as well as the front desk staff.

Hotel was well appointed and clean. Staff was friendly. Free parking. It is not walking distance to campuses, so you will need to drive everywhere while you are there. Only complaint is that the hotel hosted pre-game party for guests on Friday evening. While this was a nice gesture, it was set up under the carport in front of the main entrance where you would normally park to unload your suitcases, etc. Had to drag all belongings from parking lot through the middle of the party in order to check in. Would have made more sense to set up party outside by pool or in lobby.

Room had all we needed, the toilet was a little slow to flush but the service at the hotel was great.

It was perfect. I was shaking after a bad experience in the prior hotel and they offered us water and tried to calm us down. very nice.

We (my teen daughter and I) stayed for 2 nights in a room with 2 queen-size beds. The room description did not include that there was a fridge in the room, but there was, which was a welcome surprise! Its freezer needed badly to be defrosted, but the fridge worked fine. I really wish that we had known that there was a fridge since the hotel doesn't offer a breakfast in the price of the room, because I would have planned on bringing more food from home! However, Publix and other supermarkets are very close so it's easy enough to go buy groceries. The room was on the small side but very comfortable for 2. It would have felt crowded had we had more people in our party, though, I think. The beds were amazing! They were so comfortable! We had plenty of pillows too. I never sleep well in hotels but I had no problems sleeping in that one (aside from the 1st night when noisy guests were having a good time on the pool deck at 1 a.m. but a quick call to the front desk put an end to that). The hotel wasn't very busy when we were there so it was very quiet overall. The reception desk offers complimentary fruit in the morning (apples and oranges when we were there) and complimentary cookies at night. I noticed a coffee station in the lobby on the wall shared with the restaurant so I'm guessing this was free for guests as well, although I didn't partake. There is a coffee maker in the room, that makes 1 cup at a time (Seattle's Best coffee provided). They also offer a couple of tea bags. We didn't use the restaurant located in the hotel but the menu was posted in the elevators and prices didn't look extravagant. You can order room service if you wish. There are plenty of restaurants (both sit-down and fast food) on Monroe, which is the main road going by the hotel. There is a Burger King just a few steps away from the hotel. There are few parking spaces in the front of the hotel but a much larger parking lot in the back. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it. There are tables with umbrellas right off the back of the hotel but outside of the pool enclosure so you can sit there with your lunch or dinner if you get it from a take-out place. I didn't see the tennis court mentioned in the hotel description but I didn't look for it either. The staff was very friendly, both at the reception desk and also the cleaning staff we met in the hallway (we elected not to use the maid service while we were there). The wifi was free and we had excellent signal on the 4th floor and very good speeds (better than we've had in other hotels). I noticed 2 computers and a printer in the lobby and people were using them. There is also a very nice sitting area with comfy-looking couches and armchairs with a large screen TV. I would definitely stay there again if I went back to Tallahassee.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and well priced for business travel. The gym could use a bit more and updated equipment, however.

Easy on/off from I-10 but the hotel was in a strange corner lot that had 3 - 4 other hotel chains on-site so to wind to the back was a little confusing. And parking up front for check-in was very limited. But the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was immaculate. And there was a business center to print needed papers. But access to FSU campus and downtown dining was easy.

Just make sure you don't get the upstairs rooms...they can be a bit noisy. The staff is very accommodating.

Love staying at this hotel been here twice before. Great food too!

My only complaint was the quality of the food at the hotel restaurant Bistro 27. Extremely Over priced for what looked and tasted like a heated up frozen dinner. Not a big issue since there are so many other places to eat close by. I would recommend staying here but I would absolutely not eat in the restaurant.

I wasn't feeling well when I check out 1/2 hour late on New Years day and I found that they had added $25 fee to my bill without telling me.

My friends were surprised when I told them how nice the place is. The young man that checked me in was well dressed and very attentive. The restaurant/bar was a pleasent end of the day treat. On check out the attarctive well dressed gal was like I was at a five star hotel.

Everything at this hotel was perfect. Checking in was fast and easy, and the people at the front desk were very kind, and asked repeatedly if I needed anything. As soon as I got to my room, I got a phone call asking if everything in the room was satisfactory. The room was great, very clean, & what I expected. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel should I visit Tallahassee again.

The front desk were very nice and helpful. They made sure that I was pleased with everything as soon as I got to my room.

Very convenient off the interstate. Nice room and friendly staff.

This hotel needs updating. Not as clean as I would like to see it.

This Holiday Inn is very updated and clean, and the counter and restaurant staffs were very eager to make our stay comfortable. Staying here... and having our team win made for a great weekend!

My family and I stayed at this hotel and it was very nice. The staff was friendly and knew all about the area. The Bistro 27 had excellent food and the kids ate for free. We are definitely using this hotel again when we go back to Tallahassee!
