Overall my stay was good. Was not expecting such loud airplane sounds but it is literally right next to an airport runway. So if you’re looking for a quiet stay, you won’t find much of that here before 11 or 12 a.m.. During the day it was fun to watch the planes take off. Our room was clean and appreciated the towel animals and the shower toiletries offered. And can I say they had the best shower head I have ever experienced at a hotel. The water was hot and the pressure was forceful. Breakfast options were good. The pool itself was clean. The deck needed work though. Some chairs were broken so there were only 6 chairs for all the guests visiting to sit on. One lounge chair only. The shaded area of the deck needed some tending to. It had a weird smell. Other than that, I would probably stay here again 🙂

The place is conveniently near Tampa International Airport. The rooms seemed relatively clean, but the lights and microwave were all broken. However, for just one night, this place was terrible to stay at.

Room floor was not cleaned properly and neither was the tub. Tube of caulking was sitting on the desk. If you can not handle planes flying over head every 30 minutes do not stay here. Pool is nice and so is the location. Close to restaurants.

Convenient location off a major road and near a small airport (but not a lot of noise). Much cheaper than other options in town. Small and friendly.

Hotel very nice and clean. Downfall is surroundings are very loud. Hotel is right next to airport and you can hear everything. Room shook a little every time a plane took off and landed. People coming and going at all hours of the night.

Looks nothing like the pictures in the ad. Old motel that needs a major overhaul. It says hotel but it is a motel. Large gap between door and floor. Bugs in the room. Damp and musty smelling. Noisy last night from people outside. Walls in the room need a major cleaning.

We arrived and the two ladies up front were very nice. This is a motel. It should not be rated the 7 it is. Checked into room and it seemed pretty clean. Detail cleaning was lacking, but we could have managed. Right away I see a small black bug (didn’t look like a bed bug) on the wall. No biggie, so I go to get it with a tissue and it falls on the floor. I step back to see where it falls and see another (much bigger brown bug with antenna) scurry under the TV stand. Kinda freaked out… but feeling like we don’t have other options at this point we decide we will just get Clorox wipes and wipe things down ourselves so we feel better. We leave and come back. Turn in the light and yet another different bug (dime size/black) shoots across the floor and under the TV stand!!! We decide we just can’t do it and now feel like there are way too many to feel ok. Go to front and tell them. They offer to have us step out so they can spray our room, but still stay?! No thanks. They say they can’t authorize a refund without manager approval. They text this person and when the manager finally responds it’s just with questions about if we have used the room. Then quit responding to front desk. They say we can leave and they will assess and decide based on their findings if they can refund. I was not happy and then offered to go kill a few bugs and bring them to the desk… I explained I wanted confirmation before I left. Manager continued to not answer, but finally agreed to refund. We left.
