Upon arrival we were immediately upgraded to a room with a better view. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to accommodate us. It was such a pleasant and welcome surprise!

Was promissed a portion Ocean view but didn’t get that is ok is just a sale point that is being used a lot from everyone out there is a good place it was a lot of noice from some people that stayed there it got quiet quick though within 30 mins the Employees at the desk were incredible and quick that was make a Hotel like Sheraton lots of good the ngs around there enjoyable .

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Tom, the concierge on duty, was extremely helpful and resourceful regarding getting us transportation to Shepards in time for the sunset

Great location. The staff was really helpful. We liked that we were on the quiet side of Clearwater. Bring a flashlight for walks on the beach at night. The pool was warm. There is no longer a playground it was removed about a month ago, but there is a playground at the county park next to the hotel if you need one. We hope to return to this hotel.

I stayed here with my boys for 2 nights. I can’t say enough about the location, the beach the hotel was on had a crazy amount of shells, and the other beach which had white powder sand was just down the way a couple minutes. The hotel was nice, there was construction across the hall from us but that did not affect any part of it stay. Laundry facilities available and a pool that was warm. But really, the location was incredible.

Great beach location, nice pool/hot tub area, great meal in restaurant, friendly staff.

Pricey hotel. Food was nothing special. Pool was small. Beach was 1/4 walk from hotel. Beach had way too many shells to walk barefoot. Did hotel repairs right above our room for 3 days straight an hotel next to ours also! I don't plan to ever return. Did have wonderful sunset view.

All the staffs was very friendly. They're always smile. The bed was so comfortable. And the view from our room was so beautiful. (We've got Deluxe room with beach view) My husband and I had a wonderful honeymoon. We had dinner at Rusty Restaurant. The food was so delicious. Specially Filet Mignon and Prime Rib.

The only problem we had was housekeeping. I had to check on that two days in a row still not cleaned by 6:30 pm. The one day was 5:00 pm. I know they was busy, but I should not have to ask each day at those times whether or not they was cleaning . Other then this issue all was good. Hotel very nice.

The experience was great, this was our first time in Clearwater. Lots to do and the hotel location was great. Close enough to activities, yet far enough from all the public beach noise and traffic. The hotel has its own private beach which was a nice walk from the pool area. They also provide golf cart rides directly back and forth from pool side to the beach. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel was nice but what made it wonderful was the beach. The beach is private so it was never overcrowded. We got up early to walk the beach and found the most AMAZING shells. The water was beautiful and calm. One day we even saw dolphins jumping out of the water!

The Sheraton staff met us at the door to take our luggage to our room, which was nice. The room itself was pretty small--just room enough for two queen beds and a very small table; the bathroom area was also very small. The TV reception (dish) was iffy when the weather was stormy. However, the rest of our stay was great! The pool staff was helpful, and there were lots of pool toys for the kids. There were plenty of pool chairs and a cabana bar and restaurant right next to the pool. The hotel has its own beach (it's a little walk to get to the ocean, but there's a golf cart to give you a ride if you're not in the mood to walk that far). Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent once you get to the beach, and the pool staff allow you to take fresh towels down to the beach. The hotel also has several sand volleyball and beach tennis courts with plenty of equipment to use. The indoor restaurants are a little pricey, but the food and drinks are delicious. All in all, our stay at The Sheraton Sand Key Resort was a great choice for our family.

Nice hotel, very polite and friendly, helpful staff

Kids running all over the place. Couldn't really use the pool because 100 kids in it at any one time. Restaurants need to be updated. Beach is nice and close though.

Wonderful staff and hotel! Away from the touristy area of Clearwater Beach.

This hotel is old and has an american Sheraton style in front of the beach, good to families with kids and people with rest desiree. The room beds is to much soft and create some pains in my back. I reccomend to Sheraton staff to review rhis mattresses.

Great location. Beach is very clean. Service was excellent.

Great Place !!!... very nice staff...FREE parking lot. I'll be back with my family soon...

The staff was amazing. Fantastic, property and amenities. Private beach, beautiful pool. Great restaurants. Also, they do have designated smoking areas. We went for our 10 year anniversary and could not have asked for more. I recommend to all.

Was in town to see a concert. Wanted to go bike riding, but to my dismay, the parking facilities were astronomical in town EVEN if there WAS availability! The hotel was wonderful. It would have been nice if there had been a cabana by or on the beach where food AND liquor were served together.

You certainly can experience Mother Nature at her best here at the Island of Sand Key; sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the beaches of Sand Key, dolphin sightings, shell collecting. Truly showcase Florida’s natural beauty! Nesting turtles, eagles in flight, and more than 50 native birds can be found by just taking a few minute walk to Sand Key Park. We assure you that our Security department responds to all noise occurrences and usually resolves the situations promptly and I am pleased that was the case. It is gratifying to read that your experience with many of our associates was very positive. Their concern is for your satisfaction and their attention to detail is obvious and shows that they genuinely care. I understand your disappointment on your room view, during Spring Break we are at full occupancy which made it impossible to upgrade at that time, your reservation is based on room options chosen through the site chosen. We thank you for your stay and hope you will chose to stay again when your travels next bring you back to the area

I am so pleased you enjoyed the beautiful and tranquil Island of Sand Key, I thank you for the very informative review; we sincerely appreciate your comment that our team ensured your experience was a success. A strong team is truly our foundation and all of our associates are largely accountable for that success. Lights off is the law here on the large, private beach of Sand Key; we are a nesting beach, a place where Sea Turtles have chosen to nest. Sea turtles are given legal protection in the United States and its waters under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Lights affect nesting females and hatchlings, so you are correct bring a flashlight … not too bright or wish for a bright moon. Since there is such a large playground with-in a 5 minute walk from the hotel to connecting Sand Key Park. We have instead added a children’s activity area with large games such as Connect Four, Checkers, Toss Games and more. Yes! We do have a very serene environment although just a short distance away you can enjoy all the activity that Clearwater Beach offers. We now have partnered with the local transit system so you are able to ride all buses and Trolley’s in the area for free by showing your room key. That certainly increase the exploration of things to do all of on the Barrier Islands and even inland. We look forward to that return visit.

Your review is very concerning and it is totally understandable that it would be an unsettling experience, we apologize. These are not the memories that were attended for you to leave with when visiting our beautiful Island.
