The hotel was nice but what made it wonderful was the beach. The beach is private so it was never overcrowded. We got up early to walk the beach and found the most AMAZING shells. The water was beautiful and calm. One day we even saw dolphins jumping out of the water!

The Sheraton staff met us at the door to take our luggage to our room, which was nice. The room itself was pretty small--just room enough for two queen beds and a very small table; the bathroom area was also very small. The TV reception (dish) was iffy when the weather was stormy. However, the rest of our stay was great! The pool staff was helpful, and there were lots of pool toys for the kids. There were plenty of pool chairs and a cabana bar and restaurant right next to the pool. The hotel has its own beach (it's a little walk to get to the ocean, but there's a golf cart to give you a ride if you're not in the mood to walk that far). Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent once you get to the beach, and the pool staff allow you to take fresh towels down to the beach. The hotel also has several sand volleyball and beach tennis courts with plenty of equipment to use. The indoor restaurants are a little pricey, but the food and drinks are delicious. All in all, our stay at The Sheraton Sand Key Resort was a great choice for our family.

Nice hotel, very polite and friendly, helpful staff

Kids running all over the place. Couldn't really use the pool because 100 kids in it at any one time. Restaurants need to be updated. Beach is nice and close though.

Wonderful staff and hotel! Away from the touristy area of Clearwater Beach.

This hotel is old and has an american Sheraton style in front of the beach, good to families with kids and people with rest desiree. The room beds is to much soft and create some pains in my back. I reccomend to Sheraton staff to review rhis mattresses.

Great location. Beach is very clean. Service was excellent.

Great Place !!!... very nice staff...FREE parking lot. I'll be back with my family soon...

The staff was amazing. Fantastic, property and amenities. Private beach, beautiful pool. Great restaurants. Also, they do have designated smoking areas. We went for our 10 year anniversary and could not have asked for more. I recommend to all.

Was in town to see a concert. Wanted to go bike riding, but to my dismay, the parking facilities were astronomical in town EVEN if there WAS availability! The hotel was wonderful. It would have been nice if there had been a cabana by or on the beach where food AND liquor were served together.

My fiancee and I were in Tampa for a wedding, so we decided to come down a couple days early and spend a couple days on the beach. We were really happy with the hotel and all the amenities. The beach almost seemed private, and all the guest services were great and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!

Awesome location, I just wish we weren't indoors ALL DAY

Hotel met our expectations for the price and location. While the beach was a bit of a walk, I still enjoyed the ocean while pregnant. The beach and ocean were both clean. They also had nice lounge chairs with umbrellas for rent. The hotel was clean and staff was accommodating. The hotel was a short drive to the more lively restaurant area. Would definitely return.

The location was outstanding and the overall experience was enjoyable.

We loved this hotel and will be back. Very nice two bedroom suite. Full breakfast in the morning was awesome!

Was only thing available on the beach 4th of July weekend but the beach is a 1000 yard walk away. Pool is small and kept warm and felt kind of gross. Hotel needs some updating, but wasn't bad. Nothing special though.

The location and private beach is nice because it's quiet but overall the hotel wasn't anything special. Clean, quiet and fun though so I would recommend it.

The staff was really great at this hotel. It was hassle free and a very relaxing experience. The staff was more than happy to help accommodate our flight coming in early by holding our luggage and getting the room ready for check in at an earlier time. Food, drinks and pool were all great.

Nothing to get excited about. The reviews were much better than the actual experience. The rooms were a bit damp and the Wifi @ 9.95/day didn't work well.

We loved the beach, pool, and hotel. The beds were like clouds! Beach was well kept. Pool was warm!
