When staying at a hotel built in 1921, there will be some things that are not 100%, but the bathroom had black ants on the floor and sink and the shower curtain was not secure and fell on my daughter. These are things that can be fixed and hopefully they will be. The staff was wonderful and engaging. St. Petersburg needs to do something about the area and the drug problem. At night, there are people sleeping along the sidewalks and in the bushes at the nearby establishments. This is not ok and these people need help. I cannot recommend the hotel for this reason.

It was a cute little hotel that has the most convenient location. What it lacked in luxury, it more than made up for in charm.

the ladies at this establishment are delightful and make you feel like family. breakfast and wine and cheese happy hour were lovely. its really a bed and breakfast with lots of rooms. we would love to return and highly recommend. location is very convenient to many things as well

And that's just fine. Cozy, friendly staff, continental breakfast and wine/cheese for happy hour. Great front porch at which to chill. Walking proximity to shops and dining. Great couples weekend getaway!

This hotel is in the downtown area and close to many nice places to shop and eat. However, we were given a room on the third floor, front of building. Climbing up two flights of stairs with luggage was burdensome, the street noise was awful and the lights made it difficult to sleep. The morning coffee was cold. There was no staff when we locked our key in our room and we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive.

I liked the hotel and staff. I did not like the metal keys to the rooms and no staff on site at night. Our night turned out well. But, both seem to be a huge security concern.

Great location and decor. No fuss, quiet and relaxes . Breakfast in the dinning room was perfect.

This is a really cool 100 year old hotel with so much charm. If you are looking for modern luxury you can go to any high rise hotel. This was in a great location within two blocks of the main shopping and eating area in St. Petersburg. There is a large porch in front where guests can sit and have a drink at night or coffee in the morning. The lobby is like a comfortable home and the front desk staff is awesome , friendly and so helpful. Nice to just sit and chat with them. The manager, Jason, is so welcoming and made it easy for us to make changes to a reservation we had when my daughter showed up unexpectedly. Many of the rooms have been newly decorated. There was a claw foot tub in our room and lovely paint and wallpaper. There was an air conditioner in the room and it was very pleasant. The rooms were very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It had the feel of a bed and breakfast- very homey. There was a wine and cheese spread one night and there is a continental breakfast in am - no cooked items but very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is parking. If you have special needs there is no elevator.

small bathroom, but clean and friendly staff. Great Porch

I stayed for 2 nights in late March. I requested a quiet room and received a dark-ish room in the back of the hotel. The lack of light might bother some people, but coming from NYC, it was blessedly quiet, and I got a great nights' sleep on the comfortable bed with excellent linens. The bathroom was clean, and the breakfast and Saturday wine and cheese were wonderful. The food comes from the gourmet market next door and is of excellent quality. There is a lovely porch where you can have your breakfast or a glass of wine. My only complaint is that the air conditioner was old and didn't function properly. It was not a problem for me, but during the summer it would be uncomfortable.

Wonderful stay. Will definitely be back. Everything is within walking distance. Breakfast every morning was a plus. Noni is the best!

Great little historic hotel in downtown st.pete. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Easy access to highway and other spots of interest. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place for a weekend get away.

Older hotel so we had some issues with the water not warming for a few minutes. Otherwise we had a nice stay, bed was comfortable which was most important to me. Walls are paper thin, we could hear our neighbors pretty clearly. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel is old and that is part of its charm. The room was small and could have used an extra table lamp. The A/C was also loud. Breakfast was good. The location is excellent with bars and dining within an easy walk. Late night can be a little unnerving as there are a lot of homeless people camping out overnight. All in all a place I would go back to.

Just a few blocks from downtown. Museums, restaurants, waterfront shopping all within walking distance. Great management-personable and accommodating. Character and a good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a lovely old hotel in a good location for walking to the Dali art show and other downtown attractions. We could not get WiFi on the 3 rd floor in our room so that was a bit frustrating. The air conditioning is loud but still the hotel was interesting and we enjoyed our stay there. Staff was great.

Being on the Register for Historic Places, I went in to the hotel expecting a nostalgic feel. I was delighted, it was very well maintained, clean and every bit as charming as I expected. What a refreshing break from the cookie cutter hotel chains. It did lack the contemporary amenities, but made up for it in charm and nostalgia. We loved it and will definitely stay here again.

We're saddened to see that you didn't enjoy your stay to the extent that we'd hope for every guest. St Pete is a very exciting city, though we do hope our black out blinds helped keep the light out from the street for a good nights rest. When we come in at 7am we do brew hot Kahwa coffee for breakfast and our deluxe rooms are equipped with Keurig coffee makers for the early risers! We do leave at 8pm and certainly did try to get there as soon as you called to get you back in to your room. We apologize for any inconvenience during your stay and wish you the best of luck on future travels.
