Non Smoking room was smelling like an ashtrey! Reception not well organized.

The front desk staff were warm and friendly! We were greeted with a sincere smile and felt very welcome immediately . We had our doubts because we heard some conflicting stories about the area but everyone staying there seemed happy and friendly, down to earth and people you passed on the way to your room actually said hello!!

I thought the staff was excellent. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

The rooms aren't cleaned adequately. The first room we were sent to still had the dirty towels from the previous guest hanging in the bathroom and the windows were filthy. The second room we ended up staying in had clean windows but it certainly didn't feel clean. The hotel is in an area where the main attraction is a Denny's within walking distance.

Reserved a room and was told it was not available. We had to sleep in a double bed and it was super uncomfortable!

From the staff to the room to the pool, everything was comfy. One peeve, there were only three pillows for two people and they couldn't provide us with anymore!

Pretty quiet and nice room to stay in. It was clean looking, no roaches or bedbugs and the bathroom was nice. I had an alright experience. Had an ice machine too which helped since there is no fridge. It was a decent price and I would stay at again.

Its an old hotel/motel. It needed a lot of update. I reserved a nonsmoking room with frig/ microwave and when i got there they say there were non available n give us a dirty room. The first thing i saw when i turn on the AC was roaches on the curtin. Almost left the place.

We were looking for a moderately priced hotel for a 4-day stay convenient to South St. Pete where we were visiting out granddaughter. We usually have good luck with this chain, and we were not disappointed. It was clean, and the linens were crisp. The maid service was excellent, and the front counter staff was pleasant. The location is blocks off of I 275 which makes it easy to commute either North or South. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. We noticed a crane-like device with a chair so that the physically challenged could also enjoy it, but saw no one using it.

The area has much to be desired, construction on the hotel next door, run down area. The location is a central point. The hotel is run down on the exterior, not inviting.... But inside the lobby has been upgraded and the room was partially updated. The room needs more fixing - the caulking should be replaced, the blackout screen had many holes, needs some little overall maintanence Staff was great. Center pool area was nice and clean. Denny's across the parking.

It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but smelled of cigarette smoke. The area where the ice machine was, was trashy and smelled strongly of urine. The pool was supposed to be heated but was cold.

It was a little hard to find a place to park, but I did like the fact that they had security cameras, good lighting, and a patrolling guard. The Continental breakfast was pretty disappointing. Th facilities were old, but serviceable. The pool area was gorgeous, but I never had time for a swim. The hotel is a little off the beaten track, and a little hard to find. My biggest complaint was that I left a pair of my shoes in the room, and the hotel staff disavows any knowledge of them. They will be expensive to replace, so I am not happy.

This hotel room smells like an animal environment space, smoke and overall dirty.

Hotel was a good bargain, it was clean and comfortable. Each bed had three pillows, beds were comfortable. Room had a closet with doors, bathroom and dressing area were in good order as well. Room was equipped with coffee maker, Iron, and blow dryer . I was disappointed to find our room had no refrigerator or microwave. Apparently only certain rooms are equipped they are called DELUXE Rooms. Unfortunately there was a Rays game event the entire weekend we stayed and needing a room on the ground floor for my 85 yr. old mother ( No elevators, stairs only ) there were no more Deluxe Rooms available. When you book you need to ask for the Deluxe Room if you want a fridge & microwave. Cost is $5.00 per night more, wish I had known this info in advance. There is a Denny's restaurant across the parking lot from the hotel. Several eateries in the area also shopping @ Target and Marshall's just a few miles further north on main drag 34th St. N. All in all good location and good value.

Hotel was a great deal and was very close to my destination: St Petersburg General Hospital. Very impressed with the wide array of amenities for such a low price. Of course this place is not a palace but you do not see many places with a pool and free breakfast for 40$. Would stay again for business purposes.

The hotel was run-down and reeked of urine in all of the walk-ways and vestibules. To know surprise, the room was no better, there was an overwhelming odor of pure funk, the bedding was stained and we were greeted by a family of roaches – yes ROACHES!! When I spoke to the woman at the front desk about the room and roaches – she said ewww yeah, I wouldn’t stay here either. Really!!! Ya think! We ended up leaving and booking another hotel.

The majority of rooms appear to be in a nice courtyard. However, we unfortunatly given one on the less-attractive parking lot side/ Staff polite/ Overall - OK, but likely better options.

I was slightly worried since my cab driver told me it was sketchy. Nonsense! This place is great clean nice room and comfy beds beautiful pool. Awesome price.

We reserved a non smoking room for my parents and little brother. When we got to the hotel there was only smoking rooms, mother suffers from asthma and we specifically asked for non smoking room, we had no choice than to stay there and get through a horrible night. There was nothing the staff could do due to the fact hotel was overbooked. Other than the problem with the room, you are getting what you pay for, area is not good, my family had an amazing view to the dumpster, room furniture looks a bit old and not clean. We were not asking for a perfect hotel we already knew all those little details but getting a smokers room was unacceptable. On the other side hotel is super pet friendly, no issues with our little chihuahua and they even have a small dog park (10 ft x 10 ft). I would recommend this if you are in a tight budget, I'm pretty sure our experience would have been different if we had a non smoking room.

Location was OK. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was adequate. Overall an excellent value for the price.
