First of all, my issue is with the property and not the staff. Why I had to write this review is due to this property being advertised as a 3 or 4 four star hotel, It is not!!. My stay was supposed to be 2 nights but the place was so terrible we checked out the next day after checking in at 2am. First there were so many work trucks there we thought the place was under construction. At 2am there were people walking their dog and lurking around, then we think they had women prostituting out of the rooms. Next the walk way and stairs were dirty and sticky. Then the rooms, we think they have blow up beds because they move and my back was hurting after sleeping there. The towels had mold on them. Finally I wouldn't pay more than $35 a night for this place. The pictures make this place look more updated than it really is!!!! BEWARE!!!!
We paid for two nights the front staff was great however the room was dirty no beds made no towels but yet checked off that it was cleaned. Also the second day I notified the front desk I was staying another night which they were sweet about but then the room attendant/maid knocked on the door and with a rude attitude said I need to pay or leave. I've never had a hotel have such horrible service. I like Days inn but not this one.
Stayed at many low budget hotels & usually find them a good value but not in this case. The room was filthy. The floor was dirty. While standing at the foot of one of the beds we smelled strong pee odor. No elect outlet near bed. There were 2 across the room & had to unplug coffee pot & microwave to use them. Giant holes in parking lot you couldn't Avoid.mini fridge was mostly frost & no racks on door shelves so unusable. Mattresses lumpy and old.Bathtub slippery. Had to wait until the clock struck 3 to check in. Lady with straight black hair was a B. Could not believe this is a Wyndham Property...
Short last minute trip and this hotel was perfect. Easy parking and nice accommodations. We will return if our travels bring us to St Petersburg again.
This property is not Wyndham quality! Needs improvements! Especially the hotel room doors! Gaps in them! Breakfast needs improvements too! Very cheap products offered! Was very disappointed! Hadn’t stayed in a Days Inn for awhile so thought we would give them a try again! Management needs to upgrade things!
It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There were bugs, sewage problems, and no one to communicate with.
The staff were very helpful and helped bring our bags up to the room. When we got there however the door was open and there was a terribly strong odor of disinfectant. Evidently the maid service had left the room open to air it out. Once in the room the smell of pot came through the vents very strongly. In combination with the disinfectant the smells were so overpowering we left for dinner much earlier than planned. The bed was clean and comfortable enough but there were major rust stains in the bathtub and I just couldn't relax.
The only good thing about this place is the pool and the parking lot . I should have read the reviews before I checked in . Hotel and lobby photos are great . The rest of the place needs a dozer . A lot of reviews with good marks are probably management . The carpets look clean in the rooms but don't walk in your bare feet they will be black .The 2 front desk personal were having a little spat with each other on check in . the courtyard gardens have not been attended in years . This place has passed its time and a little bit of filler and paint won't cut anymore . Keep driving
The refrigerator was frozen when we arrived. The next day they did fix it but took a while, instead of just changing it out. Then came back to toilet seat sitting next to toilet. If the maid knew it was broken it should have been fixed before we came back.
The hotel is ok. Very clean rooms, the housekeeping staff do an excellent job. Erica at the front desk is awesome. She switches back and forth between two computers to get people checked in at a fast rate, and makes a point to make all guests feel comfortable with quick banter, all while radio-ing housekeeping or maintenance to attend to other guest's needs. The hotel is ok, but the staff is very impressive.
