I enjoyed the stay and was pleased with the staff and hotel. It would have been nicer if the construction was complete, but the staff took good care of us! I imagine the price will go up considerably once the renovation is complete, but if they keep up the great service then like always, you will get what you pay for.

Couldn’t find entrance which is a building site. Small door on street around corner-very confusing in dark. Other than that : Good location. Nice room. Good people. $45 for valet parking!

Great hotel! Our friends stayed elsewhere and spent $150.00 more per night and we were right near everything!

We had an average experience, the check in was disappointing, made us wait after 4pm, did not call us as promised despite the fact they were aware we were traveling with a toddler. The lobby is a mess, you don't have even a small chair to seat and wait, they are under construction and no complimentary coffee or tea was offered to guests to compensate for the inconvenience. Finally, asking for a taxi took the receptionist more than 20 minutes, we finally decided to take it in the Sheraton. We almost missed our flight. We are not coming back to this hotel, it is not worthy.

My renivated King room was small, similar to a Club Room at a Club Quarters room. My bathroom sink was particularly small. Normal size shower. Lobby area currently being renovated. Two short blocks from Westlake Station light rail to Sea-Tac Airport.

I knew this hotel was getting renovated, so no issue there. The room was very nice, thanks to reading reviews I had known to upgrade to a bigger room and it was well worth it. They actually did it for free and I enjoyed the bigger room, since I stayed for more than one night. The location is great, very close to the Pier, restaurants are walking distance. No breakfast, but Sbux is right there next door. I'm sure it'll be fantastic, once the lobby is finished and all the construction is done. Staff was great!

Room is tiny, and did not even include a desk to allow work or using laptop (except on bed). Hotel was under renovation, so no fitness room, and not even a lobby where I could sit and work on my laptop. Bed was comfortable, however, and the staff was friendly and acknowledged problems above. Reception Desk was cramped, and there was a nice bottle of red wine and glasses displayed on the counter, but evidently I did not pay enough for my room to merit a taste -- made me feel less special than other guests.

We were looking for a hotel close to everything and this fit the bill. Staff was wonderful and hotel will be great once renovation of the lobby is complete. Room was comfortable, but on the small side (more like a NYC room), but the bed was awesome.

We loved staying at the Roosevelt. The bed was amazing, we slept so well here! My other favorite part was the beautiful glass shower.

The lobby it's going through a remodel so it's not the best Orbitz has not listed that... also the staff it's weird not too welcoming and the guy at the parking garage it's just a mess he kept clashing cars and not really to careful with the car he was parking

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation which is just temporary as I'm sure once the renovations are complete, this hotel will be fabulous! With that out of the way, this is probably as good as you'll get when it comes to location and access to dining, shopping and other activities. Rooms are updated, modern and well appointed - the beds are very comfortable. I, personally, like the classic decor with an eclectic twist! There is valet parking available OR you can self park at one of the many parking garages on the same block.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in being near many great Seattle attractions.

The hotel was undergoing a major renovation when we stayed and despite that all, hotel staff was pleasent and accommodating, noise was minimal if any and I had an enjoyable experience

Our bathroom was so small that you couldn't turn without hitting anything. The sink was horribly done, it didn't drain well and water splashed everywhere! They definitely need to find a better sink. There was barely any lighting and one of our lamps was not working. I had booked Friday-Sunday through Orbitz. But since my husband and I are were working Sakura Con Thursday-Sunday, I had called the hotel to see how much another night would be. She told me it would be an extra certain am she even left me a voicemail stating that amount. On Saturday I noticed 2 charges that didn't add up so I spoke to the front desk and he told me Thursday is certaiand I even showed him my visual voicemail and told him to listen to it but he kept cutting me off and kept repeating the same thing. He wasn't even trying to listen to me and was so rude I had to tell him to please stop cutting me off because it's making me upset. He also told me they're are pending charges because I have 2 reservations which is WRONG again bc the front desk lady I booked Thursday night said i would only be held to one deposit fee. He then belittled me, talking to me like I'm stupid and I don't understand. I kept telling him to listen to the voicemail and he refused. Then he proceeded to say let me just print it out because you obviously don't understand and I can't explain it to you. I was so angry! As I walked away, him and 2 other staff started to say bad things about me thinking I couldn't hear! HORRIBLE!!

From the valet and front desk agent to the fabulous newly renovated rooms, this is a fantastic hotel choice for travelers to downtown Seattle. The current construction is only temporary as I'm sure everything will be fabulous once the construction is done! You can't beat the location of this hotel either - its close to everything in downtown Seattle!

This hotel was built in the 1920's, and right now they're in the process of remodeling it. Our room was beautifully redone and the staff was super friendly. You're right in the center of everything in downtown Seattle — Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom, the train station, shopping, dining. I would definitely come back here!

Valet parking, with in and out privileges. Efficient room design. Not loud for being in the heart of downtown.

great experience, superb room, absolutely awesome shower, attentive staff and very very comfortable.

Very small room for a "studio suite." Bathroom door is see thru glass!!! we were with our son so that was a big issue! Closet is too small. Closet door would not close. Had someone fix it and it was fixed until after 3x of opening and closing it! Closet door would not even open all the way because it was hitting the chair! One thing I loved was the bed! It was really comfortable! But with all the issues we had for a 3 night stay, i regret staying here! Oh one other thing- the receptionist that checked us in seemed she could care less! I was asking for a room switch but she straight up said no! She wasn't rude but she could've been more helpful and empathizes with all the issues! All other staff were friendly.

This was our 2nd stay and we loved the upgrades to the room, especially the bed! Having a sofa in the room also made it comfortable to sit around in between activities. The location is convenient for downtown and Capital Hill.
