I like the amenities and some of the cleaning staff and front desk but what I did not like was the pricing without a reservation was ridiculous $100 a night for a 2-3 star hotel is just ridiculous and they didn't even offer a continental breakfast

These rooms are recently renovated and look amazing. For these 2 star prices, I can't believe how perfect the bathrooms are!

Upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled. The clerk said the owner tried to charge the card I used to reserve the room and it did not go through. I had cash to pay for the room. She (Monica) informed me that I had to either make another reservation by phone, online or pay their rate of $89 per night and they only had 2 rooms left. I was able to reserve quickly through booking.com for $69 per night, thank heavens! This seemed like a “bait & switch” ploy on the owner’s part. The ONLY reason that we didn’t go elsewhere is because we had our dog with us and needed a pet-friendly hotel. Also, the beds were awful!!! The mattresses seemed very old and very used, not comfortable at all. The renovations in the hotel rooms near ours created quite a bit of noise. This interrupted any chance of napping during the daytime, even though we were there mostly to fish at night. The workers kept yelling to each other from several rooms and that made our dog bark often. The breakfast is a joke! It was stale mini-muffins and powdered donuts. Once was more than enough. Overall, our entire stay was barely acceptable. Not sure if we’ll stay there again!

Positives: the checkin and checkout we're quick and the Pool was newer and looked clean. Cons: The bathrooms were dirty and covered in hairs everywhere. The sink was filthy and stained. The faucet was stuck and barely functioned. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were tiny and hard. The ceiling was covered in leak stains, and the room very dim had a very musty odor, and the remote control was covered in filth. This felt like a bottom line motel, but was at a hotel price. I would not recommend this hotel.to anyone.

The lady at the front desk was rude to everyone and didn’t know what she was doing. She doubled charged me saying my the payment from orbitz was only processing.

It was average nothing to special. Not sure i would stay again

As soon as you enter the room, it smelled very bad. Like an dirty old restroom. You can tell the top bedding had not been cleaned for a LONG time. Smelled AWFUL. Could tell the sheets were very old and threadbare, but clean. Rest of the bedding reeked. The only redeeming feature of this room was the shower. That was the only area that didn't stink.

Horrible mattress. It sunk in the middle. The room smelled of humidity. The AC did not cool enough.

The room was not clean at all. Food left in fridge bags and boxes under the bed rub needs to be cleaned and bleached. I had to buy new leaning for the bed in order to sleep. No towels either

The rooms could have better pillows and the night employee could be more polite

Flight was delayed due to emergency weather and airports were shut down. Red roof in Ellington still made me pay for one of my nights stay. Rude and unprofessional about situations

I have stayed here many times and would recommend it to anybody. It is always immaculately clean in the hotel staff is great
