The room was okay, although too crowded with a redundant chair that blocked the door from opening fully (our friends stayed in a "wheelchair" room that was smaller than ours and had a chair preventing the use of the wheelchair!). The place was clean enough, but could have done with a good scrub. When I arrived to check in, the cleaning lady was complaining about another guest, who incidentally was our friends - the cleaning lady parked in the only wheelchair parking spot and pitched a fit when asked to vacate to one of the TWENTY other open spots on the property. Unprofessional. The lady at the desk was great - very friendly, very helpful. The area of town is a bit rougher, so not sure we'd stay here again, although it was convenient to get to the Alamo the next morning.
Poor is too high of a rating for this property. Multiple homeless people walking around when we arrived. Desk clerk wouldn’t open up lobby for us to check in due to safety concerns. And the bedded was dirty on beds. Would not recommend this property to anyone.

It was a good rate for a good room. I give it a 3.75 out of 5 . You can tell they are really working on continual improvement . The one thing I wish Orbitz would stop asking me and others is that is this property LBGT friends or to African Americans and God know what other human being is out there . It’s a HOTEL not a gay bar or ethnic restaurant for Goodness sakes

It was TERRIBLE the trash was filled up to the top!!! It was Dirty and the room sheets had stains and had a roach!

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. First room assigned was very dirty. The staff without hesitation moved us to another room. This one was a little cleaner but floors were dirty, sheets stained, hair dryer very dirty, remote control didn’t work, A/C didn’t work well and main door had no seal. Continental breakfast was a joke. One staff member cleaned breakfast area up without using gloves. Re-stacked leftover muffins and donuts in a tub while eating some leftovers. We were supposed to stay two nights but of course after first night we found a cleaner, less noisy hotel for actually cheaper. Owner did refund for the second night.

I didn't like the overall stay. I paid less for something better a couple weeks later. Even the breakfast was not good. They seemed to have watered down the waffle mix which made each waffle stick

After complaining again They finally fixed shower head. I feel very dissapointed my experience. They should have complimented my room. For all the trouble and poor conditions. The maids and maintenence staff were outstanding.Hard working. I cant say the office was. Rude and unsatisfactory

The property was convenient as far as price for our Sea World visit, but its not kept up and neeed to be updated. We had to wait forever to get fresh towels, after asking for them twice. Strands of hair was left in the beds/shower, stains on the blankets, the sitting chair was dirty and stained, and the floors were so dirty it left our feet black. Online they only show a picture of a clean room because the outside area is "sketchy looking". Yes, its located downtown, but in a run down area where the homeless are as well. I would not stay here again and would recommend it ONLY if the was NO OTHER choice!!!
This place is falling apart. The sink handle came off in my hand. The bathtub was duct taped together, and didnt drain unless i fiddled with the drain plug. One of the lamps didnt turn on at all. The outlets were very loose....overall, this place needs a reno, badly. The staff is great! Friendly, helpful, and the only saving grace this hotel has. I hope they are able to fix this place up, soon.
Wouldn’t stay again next to loud freeway you can hear all the cars
