So the hotel looked nice inside. Everything appeared to be clean and the room was clean. However the room was a bit dated when it came to the bathroom. The exhaust fan didn't work and the toilet handle got stuck. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. Overall it looks like they tried to re-vamp everything but didn't spend money on the bathroom. The carpet looked good and the bed was comfortable, although bigger pillows would have been nice. The room was very spacious and the fridge was cold. Breakfast was a bit of a joke. Some yogurt and maybe a banana and cereal, that's about it. For the price I paid (about $150-$160 a night) I'd expect a better breakfast service. COVID or NO COVID that's no excuse for the poor spread at breakfast. I'd stay here again, as there's not many options in the area, just felt it was a bit overpriced for what you got. When I called in to book direct I was told there are no better rates (surprising) so I ended up booking on Orbitz (which cost the hotel $$). Check in and check out was a breeze though.

The rooms where the nicest, pool looked a little dirty and cards stoped working at 9 when the check out time is at 11, went to fix it they changed it amd the new card was good just for 30 min
Slightly dated but clean hotel. Breakfast okay but not enough seating to accommodate guests at 8am
Everything was clean and I felt safe staying there. When I checked-out I some how mentioned that I didn't have time to have breakfast but the lovely woman at the front desk offered me a bag-to-go with water, a power bar and an apple. That was a VERY thoughtful gesture.
I loved this place! It was very cozy, homey and quaint. It was very clean in both the common areas and the room. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Will definitely stay again when traveling through this area. Loved it.

It's not easy to find a hotel/motel in the Pottsville area, so I relied heavily on the Orbitz reviews that I read. As a result, I reserved a room at the Country Inn & Suites and I was not disappointed. The hotel was easy to locate off Interstate 81 thanks to strategically placed signs, there is plenty of parking, and the facility is both clean and quiet. Having recently stayed at a hotel where the public areas were far from clean, I can attest to the fact that this is a quality that can't be taken for granted.
Very nice hotel with free breakfast and wi-fi. No close restaurants or shopping but had not expected based on location I was visiting (PA country/mountains).
Great place to stay. We had booked a room for 2 adults, 2 children, and there was 1 towel in the bathroom when we arrived. The keys to the room did not work either after checking in. But all of this was addressed ASAP and we had a great time. Highly recommend.

COVID has put those items on hold for now like the bathrooms.
