The hotel was very noisy and the room was so cold. The pool and hot tub were constantly pack with kids. Then when it wasn't there was a nasty foamy dirt film in the hot tub. The room was clean and quiet for the most part but freezing. And the corridors all smelled strongly of pot.

During our stay the Elevator was out of service, the 2nd floor ice machine was out of service, the sauna was out of service and the tub in our room was kinda beat up. The continental breakfast was really good and the bed was very comfortable.

Nothing was unique ,thwe elevator was broken we were on the 3rd floor with handicapped guests ,electronic door locks.didnt work ,rooms are not kept well for what i.paid to stay i expected much more iam sure that the things that are broken were included in the cost of my stay i would appreciate a phone call from a manager and would expect som compensation

After check in we were informed that the elevators were diown due to ‘safety” reasons and we would have to use the steps to the 3rd floor, when we asked for a refund due to this not being disclosed until after check in, staff stated they could refund nor discount us. But still on the website they offer elevators and a handicap accessible property with no update on the elevators being down! Very very dissatisfied

One night lay over Glad that is all it was

This was a last minute booking while on the road . We only stayed one night and honestly that's all I would be staying in the room we booked. The bath tub on the outside had sheet rock screws holding it together. The jet tub had so much hair in it was absolutely gross. I had to use a towel to stand on to take a shower . The ceiling above the shower had peeling paint and was very sketchy The bed room had a window AC unit in it , and the living room had nothing . The fold out bed felt like the original mattress from the 20's The electric fire place that was propane had all the electrical wires hanging out of the bases of it , and a giant wire nut holding them all together. glad it was only one night

Elevator

Everything was good but the elevators was broken. The employees said that the wed site listed as being broken. But it does not. My mother uses a wheelchair. It was hard but slowly we got her up the stairs and down. You have to have a plan for when this happens. At least give people their money back when it comes to an issue dealing with handicapped accessibility.

Do not stay here. We checked into Hawthorn Suites Erie, PA and left within an hour. Room was dirty, AC didn’t work, elevator was broken (not clearly stated on Expedia). I asked the property manager, and she argued it was listed—technically yes, but only buried in guest reviews, not the listing. After that, I started reading recent reviews—20 to 30 since June with the same issues: no AC, broken toilets, dirty rooms, zero service, and the elevator down for over a year. The manager was rude to us and Expedia, but thankfully Expedia had our back. They gave us a full refund and were incredibly helpful. If you’re traveling with kids or pregnant like my wife, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this hotel. Wish we had read the reviews sooner.

The property and its staff were just OK. nothing terrible, nothing great. The location is nice. Next to alot of restaurants and shopping. Although, being next to splash lagoon contributed to it being very busy and noisy

Try somewhere else first.

Elevator has been broken for awhile apparently. Would have been nice to know. Suite was clean-ish. Since the elevator is broken there’s no daily trash removal or sheets and towel exchange. You have to go to the desk to get anything including tp. Even then getting towels wasn’t a guarantee because they wouldn’t have any clean. Breakfast was good though.
