Awesome. Everything about our stay was fantastic.

Location couldn't be better, directly in the center of town. Comfortable beds, very friendly and helpful staff, clean, convenient parking garage. 10/10, I definitely recommend this place.

Room was wonderful, but you had to pay extra for parking and if you wanted a fridge. For the price this should be included. In house bar and restaurant had very slow service, we left to get food and drinks.

After reserving 22 rooms for a wedding group, to include the wedding suite for my daughter's honeymoon. The staff not only couldn't seem to get things figured out. They gave keys to another couple to her honeymoon suite and after moving her bags to the room, going to the wedding, she came back to dirty diapers, someone had gone through the food and drink left for them, someone's luggage as the hotel had given her room to someone else. Then the staff blamed me for reserving and paying for so many rooms. To be clear, I tried to block rooms early on but the hotel wouldn't allow for it unless we agreed to hold an event in the hotel. Ridiculous! The wedding was on family land. There is no room service, you must pay 10.00 a day for parking, no breakfast. I say stay at Federal Pointe, which offers both. You will be disappointed for sure. I have stayed twice and both times had difficulty with reservations from a third party vendor like Orbitz. Not worth the headache

Had excellent experience and enjoyed our time there

Staying on the front circle is a big mistake. Bright outside all night lights and no shades. Also noise, Was all through the night from circle traffic. Stayed before and still like the place.

Great Location, great food and service . Darrian was a FABULOUS waiter !

Nice room. Great location. Excellent overall experience.

We booked a two night stay last minute and got the hotels last room. It was in the "newer" section of the hotel. Which sounds like something you would want but it was an odd room. Clean and spacious, large bathroom and two queen beds. Room 718. What was or is odd about the room is it has windows around two thirds of the room. These windows are not tall but they are covered with floor to ceiling curtains. Ok not a problem just weird to be surrounded by so much material. Upon opening these curtains we had a view in to the Main Street in front of the hotel. Which would have been amazing except these windows wrapping around the room were absolutely filthy (on the outside) to the point that looking out them was futile. They are strange Windows under ledges and they probably not easily cleaned but it doesn't appear they have not attempted to do so in some time. All rooms on what they call the 7th floor are in this strange addition. It is actually on the second floor of the addition. Which appears to have been a municipal building or bank at some point. To be fair I did not have a chance to ask management about the windows. On our second afternoon I got word that I had a family emergency and needed to return home immediately. The staff at the front desk was kind enough to refund our money for our unused night. My husband and I hope to finish our Gettysburg trip soon. We will definitely stay with them again. We will book a room in the original hotel floors 1-6.

Nice hotel but no free parking, 10 dollars a day.however hotel was in an ideal location

The hotel is in a great location within a short walking distance from everything. The front desk staff was great expecially Andrew. The lobby areas are clean and well maintained. Upon exiting off elevator to my floor I noticed a large stain on the carpet. The rug in the hall leading to my room looked like it could of been vacuumed better. Entering my room I noticed the furniture was dusty, expecially the night stand. This is where the hotel stores the ice bucket as well as some drinking glasses. Nothing stored here could be used. The area here was so dusty I took pictures and went directly to the front desk. I spoke to Andrew S. who I believe is a manager. He was apologetic and did what he could immediately. I understand its an old hotel but this was unacceptable for the amount of money I was paying to stay here. They asked me to email the photos so they could use them as a reference point in addressing the cleaning staff. The next day I had left a note asking for a few more towels which I did receive however the staff left all the dirty ones in the room along with a bag I left near the fridge that was neatly tied ( full of water bottles, juice boxes, wrappers ). The next few days I found myself walking to a barrel at the back exit throwing my trash away. Maybe I am just use to big city hotels. Long story short, would I stay here again? Yes. It's a lovely historic hotel but they really need to focus on the cleaning staff and the level of service they provide

From check-in to check-out staff was less that welcoming and in-attentive at best. Most of the time we were ignored and felt as if we were intruding. Bar staff used profanity with customers as if they were at a beach party. Food in the restaurant was ok at best and over priced. Access to our room with a luggage cart was impossible due to stairs and lack of elevator access. The one bright spot was location---right downtown on the sqaure!!

Wonderful place to stay great service great food rooms clean well maintained in center of town.

Overpriced, in my opinion. Yes it is convenient in that it is downtown but that is the only plus. There are no amenities and no concierge. Staff was courteous in that they would tell you to call and make your own arrangements. For the price I thought it could have been a little nicer.

Our stay here was really nice.Hotel was clean and modern. The location was perfect to all the things to do and eat. Every place we went people were so friendly. The only down side was the huge trucks outside waking us up at night. Nothing the hotel could do. The state our town needs a road to go around the town for through traffic.

Great place to stay....right in heart of town. Beautiful Hotel....you'll stay again

When i explored this hotel on their website, the junior suite rate was ~$500/night. So when i found it for ~$160/night, i jumped on it. It turns out a junior suite is basically an extended room with a wall separator (probably 6' extension). It made it hard to maneuver a wheelchair. To be fair, the staff suggested a double queen room instead but i chose the junior suite because we were 5. I recently checked their website which now has rates for the junior suites at $142/night. The location is great. It's right in the center of the historic town section with walking access to many restaurants. As for the ghost, I felt a presence next to me on the first night but i guess he got bored and didn't come back for my last night.

Stayed in a junior suite and felt it was a tight fit for three people. The bathroom needed upgrades. Especially, the bathtub and shower. It was rather run down, although, still functional. The restaurant service was slow and food was not cooked as requested. Platter returned after recooked food requested and it took forever. The restaurant was not crowded, so no need for slow service. Pity, there is no longer room service. Years ago, this hotel was upscale and fancy.

I haven't stayed in this particular hotel in over twenty years and it was as pleasant on recent visit as it was back then. The rooms were comfortable and the modern decor was lovely. The room did have a noisy heating system though. The dining staff were friendly. The cost per night was decent when booked through discount site. The room was very clean. Unfortunately, there wasn't room service offered except if you ordered meal by physically going into the dining area. No menu is in any of the rooms. The hotel location is not nearby the Gettysburg Battlefield but near enough to get there without much trouble.

We had a two night stay. The hotel restaurant is poor and should be avoided, especially breakfast, which was so bad we never had lunch or dinner there. Great downtown location near numerous restaurants, shops and historic locations. The battlefield surrounds the city so it is very accessible from this hotel.
