The personal was friendly, But the first thing you get force to sing a document so you cannot sue the owner due to hotel condition and they are hones hotel under construction. The hotel, first the pool is damage so no pool, even though they say on advertisement pool. Second some rooms in the hotel on rain in some were getting flooded. Third closet on hallway fool fungus. Fifth according to employee’s hotel has electrical problems. Six weird smells on room with dust or gray powder we got sick. Seven at midnight hotel lock down, only a small door on rear open in an emergency like a fire everyone would die loke in side. Eight at check out, no owner or employee on site hotel abandon only customers on site, weighting for hours everyone left. What a terror fine experience.

One of the nicest rooms I've stayed in for the price! Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, and our dog stayed free (as is always the case at Red Roof). It's also a great location right off the highway, perfect for road trips.

The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfy. The owners were very friendly. From the outside though, we weren't sure we were in the right place. The clerk at the desk was slow and not technologically proficient but she was kind and apologetic. It's an old Quality Inn that has been "renovated". The provided breakfast was not at all appetizing. For a place to merely sleep, it was fine. But not much more than that.

1 threadbare towel felt like the Bates Motel. Never want another Quality Inn. No QUALITY at all. Just creepy with incompetent help.

Got the hotel because it had a pool and a hot tub the hot tub was green around the edges with slime the fire alarm in our bed room went off couldn't get it off no one came after I called no breakfast in the morning there was one maintenance guy trying to do it all he was at the desk plus trying to give us food everything was out waffle maker was out of waffles he got some and it burnt the waffles very very disappointing in the whole stay

Stayed here years ago with no problem. This time my wife, adult daughter, and I stayed in adjacent rooms 10 pm - 7 am three nights. Half of hallway carpets badly stained, the rest missing: renovation underway? One of two ice machines broken, clearly for long time. Toilets worked poorly: in our room requiring two flushes, and in my daughter's room opening the tank to get it to fill. When we returned for our second night, our room had not been made up. Did not report this. After the second night my daughter used the communicating door between the rooms, leaving her room door deadbolted. We (foolishly!) closed the communicating door; it has no outside handle, and so her room was sealed completely. Reported this to the front desk at 7:30 am, emphasizing that there was no easy way to enter her room. They assured me that they would take care of it. When we returned for our third night, our room had again not been made up, and daughter's room would not open. Reported the problem to the front desk. They told me that there was no one staying in our room, although they agreed that there was someone in the second room. (This mistake was the reason our room was never made up.) After two trips to the front desk someone came back to our room, agreed that there was a problem, and promised to return immediately. After twenty minutes I got my tools and disassembled the latch on the communicating door; we were therefore able to retire (in unmade beds: a small matter) by 11:30 pm.

Hotel was overall nice and clean. No elevators, but only two floors. Windows open, but no screens so we couldn't keep it open at night to let the cool breeze it. Online said 10 minutes from Penn State, but it turned out to be closer to 25 minutes away.

Stayed here for an art show at Penn StAte. I paid half what it cost at the campus and was 15 minutes away The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel had a very nice lounge and I felt like this was more along the lines of a three star hotel. When I return for the show next year I will most definitely stay here again.

Everything thing in the room was covered in hair! It made it absolutely impossible to sleep! Terrible!

Overall it was okay. The shower didn't work properly. It went back and forth from hot to cold. The breakfast room was kept too warm. It was uncomfortable.

Room clean, free breakfast. Convenient to I-80 and State College.

My daughter participated in the Penn State Jr. volleyball tournament and during this time all hotels in the area were sold out months before the event. The Quality Inn Milesburg was the only hotel available at my time of booking. The hotel is about 15 minutes from Penn State so the location is good. Since I could cancel until the day before the event I ended up canceling and reserving the same room type for about $50 less/night when the price dropped (I guess there were multiple cancellations), that was also good (value). The problem were the showers. The water temperature kept changing from very cold to very hot continuously, I think other reviewers had the same problem. I ended up filling up the bathtub and taking a bath that way. If not for that I would had rated the hotel higher. But based on location and value I would stay there again and not use the shower.

I have had better, remote to tv didnt work even after getting batteries, comforter on bed was dirty upon arrival, breakfast didnt have alot to offer and was cold, didnt think it was worth what i paid.

Stayed overnight for a PSU football game. Rooms were mediocre, but clean. Breakfast was decent. Price for the value was exorbitant, but then it was a football weekend.... a gotcha!

We attended Thon at Penn State main campus. This was a great place to stay not too far from campus and easy to get to. Staff was great and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Great continental breakfast also. We would definetely stay there again. It was a pleasant stay.

Dear Anonymous, When you write a review in the online portal it comes with the responsibility of having to tell the truth. The Hotel has eight exit doors apart from the main door. The Hotel is NOT a fire risk. Just so you know, if the hotel was a fire risk, we would have been closed a long back. The main door is closed just for five hours because we just do NOT have people to work. You see between two administrations and the elections, we decided that it is best to make Americans lazy and make them stay at home and get free money. Now these workers are used to the Free money and they don't want to work. And that, my dear, is the truth. We have a sign at the front desk the explained. Further during football weekend, I was personally present in the front desk till 4 AM. I slept for an hour and came back to make fresh omelettes for the guests for breakfast at 6.30 AM made to their order. The least you could do was considerate and tell the truth. Incidentally you were supposed to go the room. Why did you go into a closet? That is a private area. We don't have fungus in the Hotel. Rentokil services the whole hotel every alternate month-completely. If as you say, you had a bad stay, why didn't you call the front desk and ask for another room? We did not force you to stay in a room that you did not like. The truth is, the room had no problem, and everything is perfectly fine, and you are just upset that you had to pay higher rate to stay on a football weekend. Guest what. We have mouths to feed, mortgage to pay, water bill to be paid and electric bill to be paid apart from Sewer, maintenance and other charges that go with running the Hotel. We make money on these days and that is how supply and demand works. The construction that you are talking is because of an idiot who came to check in and wanted to bring in the camper inside the canopy without seeing the height restriction that was placed there. He damaged the entire canopy and we are fixing it at the cost of $75K almost. We cant claim insurance because that guy was a coward and he ran away. And if we had claimed insurance with our current company, they would NOT have renewed our insurance. We are damned if we do and damned if we don't. And people like you can never be satisfied. Next time when you give a review, be fair. Tell the truth. It won't hurt. Kind regards, Srinath General Manager

Dear Guest, I am extremely happy that you had a good nights sleep. We are thankful for your business. We have hired some senior citizens who seem to be challenged in the use of computers. They will be provided more training. We do have an heated indoor pool, fitness center, and a lounge in the Hotel. Hope you had an opportunity to use them also. I have noted your comments regarding the breakfast, and I will review that with the operations team. We would love to have you back to stay with us, and we will do our best to wow you with our service. Thanks and with kind regards, Srinath General Manager
