Paid Extra for the waterpark atcheck in. The PARK WAS CLOSED. Why make us pay if it was CLOSED
Loved everything. Food is good. Water park was good. Went for two days and it doesn't get over crowded.
The resort was not bad but the staff needs to be more clear on whats available
It’s in a great location on the lake but the actual rooms in the resort is horrible! Very dirty and all very very old furniture. Lights didn’t all work and bathrooms were dirty. I will never stay there again
Was unaware that they have three locations instead of one location at the resort if I had kids and had to say at a another location and how to get them dressed to swim and then go outside and go back to our other location that's uncalled for and had to pay for a different price I don't understand why they do that the theater was a different price bowling was another prize the water park was another prize I just thought it was very deceiving
Arrived at the check in counter only for them to say they didn’t have my reservation. Took them almost 45 minutes to get it straightened out. Once we got into the room it smelled of smoke and everything was very dated. Went to take a shower took almost 20 minutes t get hot water once it got hot it was a faint trickle of water and would spit and sputter. When checking out told them about the issues and was told sorry maybe next time it will be better. Was also told someone would contact me never heard from anyone. We checked in at 700 pm and all the restaurants and even the bar was closed there was no place to get anything to eat or even drink. Had to drive 20 minutes to get something.
loved the water park hated the cost of the food and the drinks in the vending machines - way too high priced
There was no hot water in the room, I turned to them a few times, but it was not fixed
It was our first time at the Split Rock Resort. I took my friend and her parents along. I like the nice and quiet location. There were a lot of activities for families and friends. Evergthing was ok, except the Room we stayed in. 3602-3603 at Town Center. We couldn't get sleep because in our room there was some kind of machine inside closed door was making a lot of noises. My friend's mom was so angry, she said "good bye, don't want to come here again, hotel from hell". I felt sad that she said that because I was the one that wanted to come spend time at the Split Rock Resoft
The grounds are beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside of this resort is the service. Housekeeping took 24 hours to replace a broken coffee machine. 5 phone calls and a trip to the front desk were made and still nothing! Finally we requested to speak to a supervisor and within 15 minutes there was a replacement coffee maker and a plethora of clean towels that weren't even asked for. Maintenance took 3 hours to unclog a toilet!! Service was extremely slow!!!
Terrible experience. Very old Hotel. Rooms are not the cleanest and have a smell. Pool area dirty. Will never stay again.
We found this hotel to be decent, quiet and with a nice view. We stayed in the Lodge where our window had a very nice view of the lake and fall foliage. The room was clean and fairly well maintained. Hot water took about 5 minutes to arrive but was hot after waiting. The Lodge is a quiet area and has it's own pool, hot tub and sauna. Sauna could have used a good sweeping but overall all was acceptable.
The amenties were awesome.... The H20oooh water park was even better. My kids had such a blast swimming and bowling. The only thing I'd change would be the food prices, which becomes expensive for a family of 4.
We had a great little getaway here. Very Family orientated. Will definitely come back
The staff were always friendly and a great help even though they were busy and unpleasant people giving them problems. I had to book some rooms separatly so I originally had different rooms, but they were able to accommodate and made sure I stayed in the same room the entire trip. And I loved how they had so many activities and things to do on the resort property

Thank you for your feedback. Our resort is rather large and some of our suites are in different locations. I understand the frustration of having to move children from building to building especially in the winter time. If you choose to visit us again...make sure you ask to be placed in the main building. We do have daily activities, basket ball, raquetball, tennis, indoor pool, fitness center, mini golf (seasonally) that is all included in your stay. The waterpark, bowling, and movie is a nominal fee. We hope you will visit us in the future.
