So let’s start with the positive. The room was cute and super clean. Not having a microwave in the room or anywhere nearby was a bummer when I needed to heat up my toddlers milk before bed. Also it’s a cold day in December. The layout might be cool for summer but not winter. The indoor pool is in the middle of a courtyard so picture little kids with wet hair, walking back to their motel room on a cold snowy night in December after going in the pool. Our room door(278) was busted and had to be bolt locked in order to stay closed. Also there is a campground and woods nearby that has a lot of random people walking around the property of outside of hotel. Like my husband said hello to a person walking by around 7am while he was brushing snow off the truck and the person didn’t respond but lingered. The biggest issue though was there is no elevator and the stairs were not shoveled or salted by 0800 when we left. I had to carry a baby down them and it was super scary and slippery. The front desk gave a lame excuse that they didn’t know it was going to snow and that she would report it to maintenance about the door meanwhile, the hotel’s at full capacity and they’re charging full price for me to risk my life getting down a flight of slippery iron stairs with a baby. OSHA or health department should be contacted about the property being unsafe. Not worth it!
