This was a very unique hotel which I enjoyed very much because of its uniqueness.. This is an old air force base which has turned what appears to be officers quarters into hotel rooms. My room had a small kitchen with sink, microwave and mini fridge that was a separate sitting room from the bedroom. It was very quaint! The grounds were beautiful and the lobby and restaurant very accommodating.

Good service and A1 hospitality my stay was comforatible and affordable

Comfy. Bar is cool. Relaxing. Area not so nice but don’t go looking for trouble won’t be none.

Nice remodeled rooms, good breakfast, only thing is I wish they can do something about noisy, loud people after 2 am. Other than that nice and clean hotel and friendly staff.

Nice hotel close to the airport. Great to be living at a former military base.

Former Air Force Base, this was the Officer's Quarters and Clubhouse, now its privatized, and it's a Hotel, nice and spacious. I recommend this to anyone

We have stayed here once before and we're extremely happy with our room and the complimentary breakfast....this time, not so much. Our room this stay was half the size of the room we stayed in last time. Breakfast was a joke...free continental breakfast with a $5 "upgrade" for hot breakfast...bacon,sausage,scrambled eggs and potato hash. We ate around 8 AM and I'm pretty sure the upgraded breakfast had been sitting there since 6...then they had a $2 charge for coffee to go! For just a few dollars more I should have hit up Dennys a few blocks away and had a hot fresh breakfast. I know it's nit picky but after our wonderful first stay this was quite a letdown.

I stayed for 1 night because it was 2 blocks or so from Art of Beer fest, so I could walk back. Check in was fast, the lady was nice and polite. The room was small, but very nice. It had some character from it's former past as an airbase, I'm thinking WWII-era.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were courteous.

Friendly staff. Decent rooms. Paid for a king non smoking with micro fridge and balcony. Well, there are no rooms with balconies. False advertisement if you ask me.

We were just up there for a little get away and it couldn't have been any better! The room was really clean and everything was super comfortable. It was great to have a mini fridge and a microwave. Overall, everything turned out great!

This was my second visit to this hotel. While the rooms are nothing to rave over, they are clean and the beds are comfy. The staff is always friendly. While I feel it's a bit pricey, it is probably the best value for the area.

After I got ready for bed and all I wanted to do is relax and watch TV. I find that the TV didn't work. since I was already in my PJ's I tried calling the front desk to ask them to fix the problem. No one answered the phone. I called every service line listed and no one picked the phone up. After several attempts at calling with no success I gave up. Next morning I complained to the staff and they didn't offer any apologies or any kind of offer to make things right.. I will never go back there again. or use this site to book my hotels

It was perfect. We drove to the area for a wedding and chose the Lion's Gate based on it's history and uniqueness (and good online reviews). It did not disappoint. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the location was close to the wedding and easily accessible from the freeway. The price was fair-we would certainly stay there again!
