"The Barcelo is amazing & beautiful, well manicured on picturesque Bavaro beach! All the amenities you want. The staff are all very friendly; but I suggest you brush up on your Spanish, as most don’t speak english fluently. All the food we had in the multiple restaurants and buffets was very good. The drinks were great; not watered down. There’s room for improvement on cleanliness (sand in the pools, and empty cups laying around; but not terrible.
Rooms were in good shape, bed was very comfortable."
