Hotels in Cap Cana Marina

"There were many positives and a few negatives about our stay at Ocean Blue and Sand. The resort is beautiful and I loved the beach. I really enjoyed that I could walk for over an hour down the beach and always felt safe. The staff were wonderful. Our housekeeper kept the room very clean and even gave us a few towel sculpture surprises thoughout our stay. The fridge was stocked daily. The food was great to start but got incredibly repetitive and I found it difficult to find different options the longer we stayed. I found a lot of the meats way overcooked. The omelet station was very well done with two going so the wait was reasonable. The bartenders were very efficient and I never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a drink. The entertainment was great and thoroughly enjoyable. My biggest issue was the sun loungers. There are signs posted everywhere to not reserve sunbeds. But they still were. In fact, if you did not reserve a bed with an umbrella by sun up, 6:30am either at the pool or the beach, you didn't get one. There were heated arguments between guests about the chairs. I felt there was no control at the resort and some guests even reserved their beds the night before and never even used them. They stayed empty all day. Hammocks would have been nice as well. One other addition I would consider is a filtered water station instead of the water jugs so water was available regardless if the bars were open. I found myself looking for water often. "
