I requested a room that was "light and bright" and that was exactly what I was given. It was room 901and I was delighted that it was a spacious corner room with 2 windows and a view. Couldn't be happier with the room and with the service.
Gorgeous hotel! Comfy beds, fantastic service!!! Super close to restaurants and Starbucks!
We enjoyed our stay while we visited Portland, Oregon.
Location and room size and furnishings. Had a nice dining and sitting area with coffee &tea.
The beds are super comfortable! The breakfast is pricey and would be free at most hotels.
Good location, great staff, beautiful facility. Unfortunately lost a few points because my room kept getting very hot after the sun set. It seems the AC is on an automatic timer, shutting off overnight, meaning I would wake up in a pool of sweat. Getting ready in the morning it was as hot as 79 degrees ...
Clean and quiet with amiable staff. Value for the dollar was high! The shower and tub situation could be updated. The stone was great, the the literal shower doors looked circa 1975, tub was no different than a residential tub. The photos looked like it would be jetted. Not a big deal, the awesomeness ...
hotel was great but the front desk check in person was not friendly at all. i asked for restaurant pointers near the area and he didn't seem to care about my inquiry.
Location is great. Everything else was very good.
Going on a business trip to Portland? After a long day at work, make sure to recharge your drained energies by exploring the city at your own pace. If you want to stay social, why not take out your colleagues or clients to experience this amazing city together?
Portland is home to over 70 microbreweries, so there is more than enough space for you and your colleagues to kick back and enjoy a beer or two after work. Alternatively, you can take out your clients or colleagues for a more casual lunch meeting and go around town to try out some local street food at the hundreds of food carts around.
Are you looking for entertainment while blowing of some steam? Then, why not visit a local sports game? Portland is home to the Moda Center which is the stadium of NBA team the Portland Trail Blazers and the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer. The local universities also have teams in sports such as soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. There is something to be had for everybody.
Just in case you would like to do some exercise yourself, Portland loves activity as well. Locals do a lot of running and bicycling and in the winter also skiing and snowboarding. If you have the time and facilities to head outside the city, you can even go hiking on one of the surrounding mountains, such as Mt. Tabor.
