The room is very quiet and clean. The hotel is in a convenient location. The staffs are very friendly.
Easy transportation.all charged are paid online,But When I at the hotel check in Front desk tell me each room need to pay $5!!! I don’t know what’s charge pay for $5? I show my receipt paid all. but she still want me pay, I don’t have any choice only can pay , I can got a check in . One hour later I go to Front desk ask I need receipt. She give it to me receipt nothing show I paid $5 . Also I doesn’t know what it’s pay for?
The lobby is very nice. I always have had a great experience in check-in. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are a great size and the beds I have always found quite comfortable. The only things I wish they could change is the room "incidental fee" deposit of $100 is a bit high. I believe they just raised it from $50. Sometimes that is almost more than the cost of the room which is high. Also, I wish the hotel room doors had the safety bar and not the little safety flap that doesn't seem too secure as a safety measure for the hotel room door. Other than that I enjoy my stays at Oxford.
Everything was clean and modern. The woman who checked us in was wonderful and super friendly. Breakfast was pretty great too with lots of options (scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, oatmeal, etc). Would definitely stay again.
Nice and clean, quiet except for our room being across the stairs and people letting it slam closed early in the morning. Really wish the pool was open but soon i hope. Also the woman that checked me in was super friendly (: I would definitely stay here again!
EXCELLENT STAFF
I have stayed at Oxford a number of times and I really like the location of the hotel. It is near the freeway, there is gas and food nearby. I also appreciate the updated rooms. They are roomy and the bed is comfortable. I also like the free breakfast in the morning. The only things I can say that I do not like is that sometimes there are campers and transients nearby that cause me to feel some discomfort over the safety of my vehicle when I stay. Also the $100 incidental hold on the room is a bit much when sometimes that is about the same cost as the room itself. I do not understand why so high? I think $50 should be the max hold for a mid-range hotel such as this.
I really enjoyed the size of the room and the seating area near the bed. The bed was very comfortable as well. The only bad things were that the safety door stopper on my room was broken so maintenance needs to keep a closer eye on the room conditions. Also there are a lot of campers around the hotel which makes me worry about safety. I also found the $100/night “incidental” hold on your credit or debt card to be a bit much especially when the hold nearly the same price as the room. It should be $50 max.
Staff very professional
Delightful staff
Renovated and great value
I wasn’t expecting much from this hotel since it’s on the cheaper side but was pleasantly surprised! The room was beautiful and spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely staying here again next time!
I was pleased with the location of the property to the North of Portland. It was a fairly easy 15-20 min drive into the city. Also it was easy to go into Washington side to enjoy restaurants there. Only wish the pool was available as it was being renovated during our stay. After long hikes at the gorge, some water therapy would have helped me recover. The area is still being built up and has potential. Sad to see the number of homeless.
The front desk guy was very rude! The hotel was nice
Likes: Walking paths were great and close by. Dark/quiet rooms
Overall this property was pretty nice, but not nearly as nice as other Oxford

I am sorry to hear that there was some confusion while you were here at the hotel. I have reviewed your account to assure that you did not pay an additional fee. I did find that there was no additional booking fee charged, it was in fact covered by the prepayment from Orbitz. I hope that other than that you enjoyed your stay.
