Ouray getaway

Great location plus a covered parking space! Checkin was a bit confusing but once in place was perfect for our weekend adventures as it is located right on Main Street. We walked everywhere.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a few questions during our stay and the host responded almost immediately each time. We actually extended our stay one night and they made it super easy for us. The location is perfect right off Main Street by all the restaurants and shops and there was even a covered parking space for us.

No suitable outside environment

did NOT know that rickety steps were involved, there was no outside environments to relax in, surroundings were not desirable at all. entrance/exit and tight parking were not suitable. would NOT stay here again.

Experience depends on other suite guests

I hate to bring this down from a 5 star experience, but the additional guests really determine how your stay is going to be. Bottom line is that noice transfers extremely easily throughout the property, and since our bed was within 5 feet of the entrance door, we were woke up every-time the other guests entered and exited. Also, I had to remove the outside lightbulb to stop the other guests from turning it on. When the light was on at night, it would illuminate the entire room. Also, the east suite has no view of the outside scenery. However, we didn’t mind that aspect since we only really hung around the room to sleep.

Perfect space for couple

The studio apartment was perfect for our stay in Ouray. It was within walking distance to everything in town. Communication with the host was great as well. We discovered one evening that there was no iron and within an hour or so one was dropped off to us. We did not cook any meals but but loved the fact that we could walk anywhere for breakfast or dinner. In my opinion, this was a much better set up than staying at a hotel. As mentioned in other reviews, the water pressure in the shower was slightly an issue once or twice, but not enough to make us not return. We hope to be back in the future!

Nice Spot

The only issue we had was that the access code was wrong on our check in info. Somebody switched the digits when inputting it probably. We got 1243 instruments of 1234 as an example. It wasn’t a big deal and the host quickly addressed it and got us in.

Great location in a cool town

This was a really nice space with a great location. The apartment was functional and we used the kitchen without any issues. The kitchen had utensils and pots and pans that did not suck, which was a nice change compared to most places.

Great Location !

This was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway! We parked in the covered parking and walked almost everywhere we wanted to go in Ouray. Highly recommend for a small family (there were 3 of us) for few days when you’re planning on mostly eating out and being in and around town. Walking distance to hot springs and great hiking trails!

I can not begin to tell you how disappointing this experience was. We love Ouray, CO. and have had positive experiences in the past with other properties. BUT this was a negative experience for sure .The roof leaked each day during our stay with morning or afternoon showers each day of our stay the ceiling leak was a constant worry. The window coverings were minimal. Parking was challenging. Although the property is in a location that should encourage walking in the downtown area, this property made it arduous to access the walking area. I can not recommend this property to anyone. Sad

Good but not great

There were many positive features of the property but also some quirks. Positives: The rental agency was extraordinarily responsive to all our queries. The location is outstanding, being within walking distance of everything, The suite is laid out nicely and was very clean. Ourey is a great place to visit, and VRBO was much better than a hotel. Overall, we had a great week there. Quirks: For some reason the AC has to be on all the time. The bathtub/shower is so high that it is difficult to get in and out for anyone with short legs or for a senior citizen. Several times, the water pressure in the shower was reduced to a trickle (perhaps when neighbors were using water). The owner seems very frugal - only one half roll of paper towels, no detergent for dishwasher, cookware very dated.

Wonderful condo in downtown Ouray

We love this place! Highly recommend it. One thing to mention is the refrigerator is very small. Not a big deal though and we will be planning on returning for sure.

Amazing location very clean

Great location in Ouray and very clean, well kept, and functional. The pictures and description are spot on. Worked very well for us. Would definitely stay again as a home base for off roading in the Jeep with my son, but not sure it’s fancy enough if I came back with just my wife.

Beautiful condo in town

The condo was very clean, very nice, has everything you need. Very Quiet yet right in town. The walls are thin so you hear your neighbor coming and going. We would rent this lovely place again.

Great location, great room

We would rent this again. Enjoyed our time in Ouray. Parking is a little tight but we made it work. You also share the building with a second room...would actually be great for vacationing couples or families wanting separate spaces.
