Bathroom sink was clogged. Otherwise the place was fair
It was hard to rest/sleep at night since the AC unit was very noisy (rattling all night long). Also, we noticed that one of the soap rests in the shower had not been cleaned properly (you could see soap residues on it), and that made us feel a bit uncomfortable. The staff was nice and friendly, though.
I went to bed last Friday night. The pillows and bed were great and I thought I would sleep well. Then within minutes I heard the sound of what had to be two 10 to 12 year old boys running around above me. It went on, and on, and on, and it has been years since the last time this has happened. I called the desk to complain and they said they would call the room. After a few minutes, the noise started again and I was furious. So, now I am angry, the room had a nice but different floor plan and I had to get up to find the phone. I am 71 and I got dizzy when I got up. I took the worse fall of my life. My total body weight hit the left side of my left hand and the pain was beyond belief. As I fell I hit my elbow, my hip and my knee. My left hand swelled up so much it was five to ten times bigger then the pinky on my right hand. Well, that was one thing but it hurt like hell. It was swelled so large and it is now Thursday morning and it is still swelled up, it still hurts like the devil, I cannot use my left hand to hold anything and I still don't know how badly it hurt the finger to hand joint. When I got to the phone, the night clerk said she called the room and there was no answer. I told her the noise was still the same. So she tried the room to one side of the room above, and guess what, the noise stopped. If my finger and hand are not vastly improved by Saturday, I will see a doctor because it means I broke my finger. Imagine 170 lbs hitting the side of a hand.
Very clean, I guess it is a year old hotel. I was pleased to see a very clean an modern room.
First look at the room I found 2 brown hair's on the bathroom floor. I'm a blonde and my other occupants are bald and weren't there yet. Also didn't know that there was no continental breakfast until check in. But overall I enjoyed my stay.
OUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL SAID WE WERE GETTING 2 QUEEN BEDS AND AT THE HOTEL, THE FRONT DESK CLERK SAID THEY ONLY HAD AVAILABLE ONE KING BED PER ROOM WITH A TWIN SIZE PULLOUT SOFA BED. THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY AUNT AND UNCLE BUT WITH THEM SOMEONE ELSE GOT THERE RIGHT AFTER THEM AND THEY OVERHEARD THE CLERK GIVING THOSE PEOPLE A 2 QUEEN BEDROOM. THE ONLY REASON WE GOT THIS HOTEL IS BECAUSE THEY OFFERED 2 QUEEN BEDS.
