Front staff needs to be friendlier

Love it all.

Pool was unusable as it is not heated. Parking area is 4 blocks away

Well for starters I know some ppl don’t use the towels that are offered but just FYI always look at them before using and we only got to use one decent one to wipe hands or to use as a first layer before you lay baby down after a bath or yourself after a shower or if you forgot to pack a towel

Overall the property, ameneties, and proximity to the beach is great. My ony issue is the parking situation. There is no parking on site. If you choose to not use valet you are told to park across the street which is the Main Street of the Island and extremely inconvenient when travelling with small children, elderly, or handicap. The property is located right next to Claytons Beach Bar which, coupled with traffic on weekends and holidays, makes crossing the street hazardous. My recommendation to management is to forgo profits for safety and have Valet park cars across the street and leave the parking lot only for the Hotel patrons.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! As soon as we arrived we discovered that parking was across the street unless you paid a $35 daily fee for valet. The guest service reps were rude and disrespectful. The young lady who checked us in just rudely left us hanging at the counter when questioned about the parking permit being given to us AFTER we parked our vehicle a mile away. She didn’t provide us with pool bracelets either. When we arrived at our room, we noticed the fridge doesn’t work. We attempted to cancel our reservation and there was no manager or any authorized personnel to approve our cancellation without penalty despite our negative experiences from the get go. Again, reps were just rude and dismissive completely ignoring our concerns and requests. We had no choice but to stay and make the best of it. BAD IDEA. The following morning we ordered food from the in house bar and grill. Immediately after eating, we got sick! We spent our most of my our day sick in our room. Once we felt better, we went down to ask for our pool bracelets and realized our room keys weren’t working so we asked for those as well. Reps at the counter rudely told us that we were supposed to have checked out by 11 which was confusing since our stay/reservation was for two nights, not one. Turns out our booking was done for two separate rooms! Who in their right mind would do that? Makes no sense for that to happen. No apologies from anyone for anything. This place is terribly run. The WORST!

This property is beautiful.

Loved the nice resort style pool and that Bar Louie was between the pool and the beach! Location was great, being next to Claytons, but also, far from a lit of the great restaurants and stores! Doesn't allow pets, but still had a fabulous time!

The hotel was very nice overall, but the staff was not very friendly at all. When I asked someone to help me find some towels by the pool, I was told “I am not in charge of pool towels” then walked off!! The hotel also has a lot of events on weekends, if you and your family sitting by the pool enjoying food/snacks while you swim don’t get comfortable. They told us we have to move/leave the pool area! When we asked why, they told us they have an event at the hotel and have a lot of paying people coming in for a “pool party”. We are paying guest at the hotel and expected to be able to use the pool with our kids. Instead we are moved and can’t use the hotel pool because of all the adults in the pool cursing, smoking, and making it unsafe for families.

It had a nice pool and beach access

Nice hotel overall but parking is bad had to park across the street. When checking in, I asked for a luggage cart and said none were available. Clerk didn’t even bother asking if I needed help getting my luggage down. No shampoo or soap in shower I don’t know if it’s because of the COVID or what. Also one remote for two TVs in one room kinda of an inconvenience. For the price and newest hotel expectations were high. Still nice hotel
