Very conveniently located hotel close to the downtown Fredericksburg area. The beds are really comfortable, but that’s about all I can say about the room. Definitely needs updating and a thorough cleaning. The staff are wonderful… Very friendly and very helpful.

The inn, is an older motel that is right off ithe heart of Main Street. Convenient to walk to everything on Main but not worth the price in my opinion. The room was dated and there was an area by the bathroom door frame that looked a little moldy. As one sensitive to mold, I coughed quite a bit while in the room. The beds were nice enough and linens ok. Thin walls and you know when the guests above you are there or get up during the night but you find that in older motels. If more than a one night stay, I would have left and relocated. Staff was nice upon arrival.

The check-in was sloppy, employee gave the most expensive room to the person who paid for a less expensive room. We paid to be pool side and our view was a stair case, not pool view unless we went outside and walked around the staircase. I wouldn't be mad except they charge $20 extra, each room, to look at a stair case.

The property common areas are very nice, beautiful pools& outdoor seating areas. Breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of options. There is an area in the lobby where coffee, tea and hot chocolate are always available. My only issue was the room we were in 114 needed attention. The bed is older and offers little support. Don’t like instant eggs. Absolutely no taste. The motel is showing its age; but everything worked even the ice machine. Outdoor pool was very nice. Really no complaints other than the instant eggs.

The outdoor area was surprisingly the best of this hotel. 3 fireplaces, on a quiet creek. Lovely! Having breakfast available and being only 1 1/2 blocks from Main Street, we’re an added bonus.
