Do not let the reviews fool you, we booked a room for one night trying to save some money as the online reviews looked fine. It ended up being disgusting. We walked into the room and the lights wouldn’t turn on, smelled of fresh cigarettes and shortly after sitting down, there were cigarette butts on the floor. We asked for a refund as I felt unsafe without any lighting in the room and could hardly breathe with the smell. We were told to contact Expedia by the owner, and then Expedia told us we had to contact the owner. He offered to change the room while we were on the property and then again with Expedia to which we declined due to the smell and no guarantee of cleanliness. We ended up walking away empty handed after contacting Expedia, they contacted the owner and nothing could be done. Spend your money else where, i would have rather have slept in my car.

The facility is the opposite of the pictures posted online. The outside is not very clean but the rooms are clean at least. The facility had a group of guys who looked questionable who stayed in a specific area all the time and there was a fight outside my room door the night I stayed. I was staying the night before a cruise. I would recommend people avoid this hotel if they have their family and children. I made the best of my one night but would not stay again.

Woman traveling solo and did not feel safe

Sketchy surroundings for a woman traveling solo. I was given a room on 3rd floor in top back corner of the walk up building. A cop car was in the parking lot following up on something from night before and said watch out for riff-raff. I was in town for concerts in Hampton. I checked in, left for the show, then returned to get my belongings and check out around 2am without staying even one of the two nights I had already booked and paid for. I luckily had friends who were able to accommodate me in their rental house just up the road.

All I can say it that I didn’t come to CLEAN MY ASS OFF FOR THE 1st hour Hotels .com you all need to come out and view the Hotel Properties and PLEASE UPDATE ALL THE PICTURE. See for yourself and you too will be ASHAMED you advertise such an unsafe Hotel.

The sheets and pillowcases were dengy the floors dirty as ever. Nothing at all like they advertised. The toilet was backed up. And they offered me a plunger instead of another room. After 2 nights they switched us to another room and charged us.

This place is terrible I would not recommend this place to anyone. The rooms were dirty, the towels were dingy. There wasn't a blanket on the bed only window curtain. When i ask for a blanket it had 3 three cigarette burns and stains I asked for new towels I was told to bring the towels the towels we had and they would wash them and give them back. I think the unhoused live there. The police came in droves i believe it was some kind of drug or prostitution bus. When I took a shower the whole handle fell off while i was trying to turn the water off.My cousin also traveled with us their first room had black mold on the celling then second room a man was doing construction. They also only had a curt

The flooring by the front door has a dip due to water damage. The towels are stained and the floor is dirty. The bathroom fan did not work. I also changed rooms once because the window glass was cracked and the deadbolt did not lock. The manager was great and he did his best to keep me happy.

This place is falling apart. Door area collapsing, not safe at all. Bathroom door wont close. No soap for shower. 10 cops in parking lot all day investigating something. Air conditioning barely works.

Expect nothing but the basics- and not in a clean way. Our toilet had not been cleaned, there was hair on the shower wall, there was no soap initially (and was thrown on the bed by the second night)- so there is not such thing as housekeeping really. the shade did roll down to shut all the way so anyone could look in, and while a non-smoking room it smelled like smoke as people would smoke outside the room door and there was an inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor- plenty of space to let anything from the outside in. And don’t forget the stairwells that smelled of pee. Only redeeming qualities - it’s right across from the beach and the Ocean View pier, and had working air conditioning, a bed, and a working shower with hot water.

The first two rooms I was put in neither one had a security latch. The third room I got put in there was smudges and everything all over the sheets. It looked like possible semen stains on the blanket. The staff however was very friendly and they did take care of the problems immediately. The shower leaked but it still had great shower pressure so that wasn't a deal-breaker. I just hope they don't have issues with that in the future which I'm sure they will. I will say for as uncomfortable as the bed was I did sleep fairly well. I was more awoken by traffic noise then the bed itself. I will end this on a positive and say the view of the ocean right there is very beautiful. I you get what you pay for and if you're looking for a nice cheap spot there are worse places.
