Hotel is currently undergoing renovations which will turn out great! The staff have done a wonderful job trying to accommodate their guests and keep them comfortable. We stayed in an updated room which was well finished. There are a few things that could make it exceptional especially when it's completed.

That hotel is a disaster the nightclub in the lobby is extremely rough since when do restaurants and nightclubs have full on metal detectors. They miss advertise the hotel the hotel is no longer the chic gay friendly hotel that used to be

A wonderful experience. The hotel has great atmosphere . Everything from the carpet , the linen, curtains, bathroom and bed looks and feels so brand new it seems you're the first person to stay there. Smooth check in and check out , great helpful staff and management

This hotel is a great place to relax. The jacuzzi area has a water feature where you can meditate to the sound of falling water. Same outside in the deck area, where you can sway in a hammock to the sound of a waterfall. Every hotel should have something like it. Well done!!

The location of this hotel was great, not too far from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The room and bathroom were both very visually appealing. The water pressure in the shower was horrible and the lighting in the sink/vanity area could have used some improvement. My biggest issue with the OUT NYC was the housekeeping department. Housekeeping was either too slow, or didn't show up at all. We would start our the leaving the hotel room around 10 am and return to the hotel around 4 pm and the room had not been serviced. Our first day in New York our room wasn't serviced until after midnight, and one day the room wasn't serviced at all. When I'm paying >$275 a night for a room I do expect that the room to be clean when I return.

I arrived and had booked a spare room with 3 other people without even knowing it... I didn't even know such a thing exist as an option... anyway. I had to pay $100 extra to get a single room, which means this was finally a way more expensive hotel than expected. And I don't think it's worth it. Gym is terrible and I would define it as a mixture of trying to be cool but tacky.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. But i don't think this is for family with children. This hotel has night club right next to this hotel.

I liked the hotel but left my Armani Sunglasses in the room and when I asked them to go get them the cleaning or housekeeping staff said they would contact me and they did but with no glasses. No I didnt lose them I knew exactly where they were notified the management and I do not drink alcohol and I stayed alone and paid quite a bit more for it too so I know they were taken. Now where do I hire the man from taken I will get those expensive suckers back.

Enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and the room was modern and clean.

I arranged for a different room as your dornitory style was not what me and my 33 yr old daughter expected. I want a refund on my account as the reservation did not meet our expectations. I think the website was missleading. Sincerely C. Varney Reservation was for 9/26 to 9/28, The Out Hotel

Such a good location and all staff so friendly and kind. The room always clean and smell nice. i was there in Summer around July so the weather just perfect to hangout in the chillin area. i would love to go back next time. and of course! free WI-FI just dope!

Staying at The Out NYC was what I expected and more after seeing it online lots of times in the past few years. I loved the room, the fully enhanced dorm style set up, the private bed space between other people staying in the room, crystal clear mini HD tv by Samsung, headphone jack, and the phenomenal WiFi The Out offered. Working out at the Spa was great too. The only things about the Spa are the 2 true treadmills need to be repaired. One treadmill errors on touchscreen causing it to stop where I have to reboot the machine, and the other treadmill is not powerful enough and makes a lot of noise when running. And the spa showers need their shampoo and soap dispensers refilled constantly, I had to run from one shower to another rushing to check out soon after my workout. But other than that, I wanna stay at The Out again and again, and recommend it to others. P.S. I am a solo business/ pleasure traveler since I can't check all that off on the bottom.

It was perfect, everything I needed was around the hotel, i loved it

Great stay.good for young single croud.close to times square

We LOVED the layout of the room and the new age look. The shelves in the closet area were terrific. Great service from doormen - especially important because loading and unloading on 42nd street are challenges. Only concern was open courtyards where guests can congregate - which one party did at 1:40 AM and woke us up. Aside from that, we loved all aspects.

The Out hot was beautiful and modern. The staff was friendly and very accomodating to requests for directions, food establishments etc.... Great value for the money. Room a bit small but sort of expect so for NYC.

Staff extremely helpful in late arrival (due to airline delays) at 1:30am. Room was a pleasant surprise as an upgrade and very affordable. At check out time, staff went over and abound their way to assist me with an issue I had. I was very appreciative of their TLC and good sense of humour. I will definitely be back.

The staff were great and the room was comfortable and vey modern. But for me not a family oriented hotel. The room has a mini bar fridge which we had to empty to stock with water. Also there is a court yard which is great for daytime gathering but not when you are trying to sleep, as we experienced at 4:30 AM with a group that decided to continue their party. Security did arrive to clear them out. They should maybe try to close the courtyard at a certain time with signage.

Very convenient location nearby Time Square. Easy access to all sorts of restaurants and many convenient stores. Comfortable and clean, satisfied with the stay.

I stayed in the shared rooms, and I loved it. For the location and price, it is a great option for one person. Guys are in one room, and girls were in another while I was there. Friday nights are loud, but I was there from Thursday-Monday, and the rest of the weekend was great. The décor is interesting, and my college friends thought it was hilarious. I didn't eat at the restaurant, due to prices and other great options in the area. I liked the recreation room, and it was a different but fun. Breezy check in and out staff was helpful. Would stay at this place again if I was in New York and didn't have someone traveling with me.
