Absolutely horrible. I read the reviews online and I was hoping I would be happy with my stay, it was Nothing like what I read. My room was nothing like the photos. The room was VERY small with low ceiling, this place is really really old, I can't even called it a hotel, it was more like a motel in a 3rd world country. The AC unit in the room was SO loud that couldn't sleep for three nights. They have over 50 rooms and one really slow, noisy, elevator.....I booked it here because of the location to javit center. The Staff are very nice but they are overloaded, they have one front desk person and no room service after 3pm..... Worse experience ever!!

The hotel is a good value for the money and the staff was great. Very conveniently located to Penn Station and Javitz center and also for any site seeing. Would use them again.

We're here for 2 nights. One of the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Too bad the cleaning wasn't thorough, as they didn't change my sheet. Location was OK (36th st) but the block looks kinda shady. For the price, not that great

The hotel has small rooms but that is usuall in New York City. Roo. Prices fluctuate in a very wide range.

This was a nice stay experience. i stayed here with family and would like to share that this is an economic hotel with necessary amenities. Breakfast was good and free. Internet speed was also good. the room was clean and comfortable. Staffs were friendly. they allowed us to keep our luggage in store after check-out. it's just 3 blocks away from amtrack - penn station.

Everything was great! Especially the staff. It was an excellent venture. Good for the money

Cant complain except for the location and even then its was very calm for being in midtown aka HK

This hotel was very disappointing. I have stayed in New York many times and this was defiitely the worst.

We were surprise at the maid service. We were gone most of the day and the maid service would come around in the late afternoon and ask if we needed service. The answer was always no as we were preparing to go out for the eveing. Therefore, our room did not get cleaned the whole time we were there.

Close enough to lots 'O business - parking available for over sized vehicles. Clean - quiet - great staff

great location. great breakfast and helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel The best part was that it was within walking distance To time square and many restaurants

Although this hotel isn't much to look at, for a New York City business stay, it's fine, especially if you're going to the Javits Center. It's only a three or four block walk to the Center, so you don't have to scavenge for a taxi or trot down to one of the Times Square pick-up centers for your convention's shuttle bus. Close to Penn Station, too, so you can walk to the hotel in decent weather. That said, the neighborhood has little else going for it. You have to walk a few blocks to find a good selection of places to eat, and, of course, it's quite a distance from Times Square and the other action. Staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and a little worn, typical of value-priced NYC accommodations, but the hotel is compact, with only four rooms on each of the 14 floors. My 14th floor room was very quiet, with no street noise. Saturday morning breakfast was varied and filling, with omelettes, sausage, toast, pastries, and lots of beverages. I did not sample the weekday breakfast, which I think is Continental-style. All in all, a decent chain hotel good for business trips to Javits conventions. I wouldn't recommend for families on vacation, however.

Great Location. Good breakfast. TV didn't work, but it didn't bother us.

I arrived at my hotel to be told that there was a "problem" on the floor where my reserved room was. They were grascious and gave me cab fare and found me another room elsewhere. Not a big deal until I arrived at the hotel where I found it just barely larger than a closet and a tiny bed. I'm not a complainer by any means but for the price I paid [...] I felt slighted.

Very dirty. The bedspread was stained, the bathroom had not been fully cleaned and the carpeting felt like hemp rope. They stocked the bath for one when there were two of us; they had no extra blankets with only one on the king sized bed (and it wasn't even a king blanket!). For the money, it was not a bargain at all. I would add, though, that the bed was confortable, the room bed bug free, and the staff cordial. But I will never stay there again.

The hotel served its purpose. It was surprising how small the lobby and room was. The bed and TV were nice.

Room faced front of street and was so bright from outside light the room never became dark and became hard to sleep. Very small. Had Direct TV with very limited channels and reception. No national stations nbc, cbs, abc,or cnn. Stale and needs updating. Very poor price value relation.

I came last minute for a conference and had to find a hotel. Was very pleased with the customer service and the hotel room. Although it wasn't central to many things (although close to Penn Station), that was a good thing. It was the first time I stayed in a New York City hotel and wasn't kept up all night but sirens and other noises. The service was very nice, from check-in to a quick problem with my TV (turned out to be my problem). Room and bathroom were very clean. Only issue was the towel had holes. But it was still a very clean towel, so I didn't care.

helpful staff; basic but good breakfast; rooms small but adequate; appreciated the wifi;
