One of three elevators was down the entire time. My son is in a wheelchair and we couldn't get on it due to the number of people already in it each time it passed through our floor. We had to wait for a long long time each time we needed to leave the hotel room.

The beach villas are basic with a tile floor but they have a balcony and are right by the least crowded pool. There is so much to do at Atlantis you do not have to leave. I took a beach excursion to another island which was a bit of a waste of money. the marina village is a cute little area to explore and some cheaper restaurants but if you go after 7:30 there is a wait. You may want to make dinner reservations ahead of time.

first room was not what we asked for-2nd room was better but not great. Room and hotel seems old. View wasn't good.. Maid service was good.

I am not shy to treat my family while on vacation but Atlantis takes the notion to extreme. The food, drinks, all activities are over priced. I could have flown to the French Rivera first class and stayed at a 5 Star for the money spent during our stay. I live in NYC area. I am used to NYC restaurants and prices but Atlantis is ridiculous!

Grounds of hotel were great. Aquariums best of all

Well this place is gorgeous ! Just don’t purchase anything there , the prices are outrageous! Go into Nassau and stop to shop for food, restaurants, gifts etc. water park is beautiful and rapid river is lots of fun...

Lots of walking to lobby and room plus exploring all the attractions. Better directions could make it easier. Would have liked to experience more cultural events. Good time had by all

The beach tower walk was very long but being young and in fairly good shape it wasn't a big deal but it took at least 5-7 minutes to get literally anything.

- great beach - great pools - great water slides - great tropical decorative walkways - Caribbean music everywhere - very expensive restaurants - noisy maintenance crew below balcony - dumpster/trucks/transporting supplied

The rooms are dated and overpriced. The hotel was doing construction outside of our windows everyday from 730am, making a lot of noise and dust. I'll never stay there again

Our hotel the Beach hotel was a dump. It smelled like mold and mildew, there was mold in the bathroom, the deck above ours was falling apart and had pieces of concrete missing. Not a place with in our hotel to even get coffee in the morning. You had a far walk to everywhere with in the hotel if you wanted anything. The front entrance was closed to taxis so you had to go to the neighboring attached hotel to go anywhere. Very disappointed. The Atlantis was always a dream and it was a very expensive dream and was nothing like I expected. There were lines for restaurants that were very expensive (I expected the expense, however not the lines).....It felt like you were being moved around like cattle and if you did not have a reservation a month in advance you did not get in.

Loved everything about the Atlantis resort. The staff was so friendly. The beach is my happy place. I will go back again!

The food was too expensive. Virgils was disgusting. Eat at Margariteville half the cost. The porch for breakfast, acts like they understood food allergies but didn't, we got sick. The caulk was so over done in the bathroom that they couldn't clean it. The corners were black with mold. Found potato chips under the table when we moved in. The balcony was not wiped down, bird dung on the banister. Bartender could not make a mimosa, said it was too far to go for the champagne. No notice that a beach was closed but others may be open.

We had a wonderful stay in December at the Atlantis Paradise Island. We went to celebrate our anniversary. We were upgraded by Silver from Beach Tower to Coral Tower. We had a balcony overlooking pools, a lagoon with sea turtles, and the ocean. It was a great surprise for our anniversary - made possible by Silver's wonderful hospitality. We ate at Nobu, which was fantastic, just as good as the ones in NYC. We did find Marina Pizza and Murray's Deli to be slightly overpriced for what you got. Would highly recommend making a reservation for Nobu as it can get very crowded. The french fries and frozen daquiris at the various concession stands around the pools are also phenomenal. Overall, the resort was full, but with all the activities, between the beach, pools, water slides, lagoons, snorkeling, we didn't feel as if it was too crowded at all. Pools do close at 5pm as it gets dark around 5:30pm - but we found there were enough other activities at night that this was no problem. We really liked how the Atlantis incorporates all the wildlife within the grounds of the hotel. The aquarium - the Dig - is 24/7 and is truly spectacular. We liked within Coral Towers that we were close to the beach but far enough from the casino so that it was quiet and relaxing. In addition, it was far enough away from the smoking. We didn't find anything was too far a walk from our room.

The rooms in beach tower are not as updated as in fancier hotels. Pillows were not super comfortable and I could see that the AC might not be cold enough for some people especially in the heat of summer. The food that we ate there was not amazing, but not bad at all. It was of course a little expensive. I definitely recommend getting off the island to Fish Fry if you like adventure and local food/flair. That said, garden views are fantastic and staff is very friendly and helpful. Atlantis itself is truly amazing with all the aquatic life, gardens, beautiful beaches, casino, and water park. We had a very relaxing and fun time.

Rude people. Took me almost 2 hours to find my room. Asked too many employees and all of the guide me wrong.

A few bumps at first. We booked a water view villa and were told we were being 'upgraded' since that building as being renovated. We decided to be happy with our room, not much we could do. We had a great view of the ocean. Still has fairly easy access to the beach. Many restaurants were closed. We needed more information about what was open and what hours. Our first night at casino service was terrible, but the last 2 nights were fantastic with very attentive staff.

Our stay was terrible, we stayed 7 nights at the beach tower and our room was facing construction at Riu. they worked 7 days a week even at night. it was terrible. Atlantis didn't move us to a different tower because they said it was sold out, but really was almost empty ( week 8/30-9/6). They didn't clean our room one night and when we asked why, front desk lady said:" you would like your room to be cleaned daily? Really? she gave us a credit of $10..insulting. We also purchased a value meal plan and almost every night 3 restaurants were closed! most of restaurants and bars were closed so you had to walk far to get a bottle of water! DO NOT WAIST you money on this place. Go to Beaches in Turks and Caicos, Sugar Bay in Barbados, Waldorf Astoria in Puerto Rico or anywhere else.

Bring in local Bahamian food. NOT American. American's don't want to eat the same food they get back home!

Have a awesome time free movie theater and a lot to see free, nice people, free bottle of water, everything near, free shutter bus,
