Bay View Suites Paradise Island

I spent 6 nights at the Bay View Suites on my first trip to the Bahamas. On the first night, I arrived around 11pm by taxi and was greeted by the 24/7 staff guarding the only entrance who kindly took me to my room. On the next day, I checked in at the office with Sandra. I had spoken to her on the phone before coming and she was very professional and helpful. Alfred, another staff member, was also very kind and helped me when Sandra was unavailable. The room, although slightly outdated, was clean, had nice AC, and a fully stocked kitchen/bathroom. The room service was also great. The restaurant and mini mart on premise were open 8am-4pm, but the food options were not so good. Mostly prepackaged/canned food/snack/drinks and no fruit. The property itself was quite safe, quiet, and peaceful. Some families seemed to be staying there long term. There were 3 pools, a tennis court, and a beautiful landscaping with flowers and palm trees. Also, thought I should mention an exceptional staff member here: Sandra. Throughout my stay, Sandra was extremely helpful, patiently answering my questions and explaining things to do in the Bahamas with my best interests in mind. Sandra tried to even save me money when recommending transportation, places to go to get better deals, and even going with me one day to help buy things at the best price. Sandra is perhaps the most helpful hotel person I have met across the world and I definitely recommend staying here to get service from her; in f

Nothing to brag about. No shampoo or conditioner. No iron, microwave, stove, dishes or silverware. Had to eat my cereal out of a plastic glass with my fingers. Just a basic hotel. On a channel, so a "water view". Had a bar/ restaurant on site. Overall a C. Wouldn't spend my vacation there, but good for a day or two or a business trip.

Great location in regards to island activities but hotel is very out gated and towels were dirty.

Beautiful hotel ! I was very satisfied to stay , lovely place! I am recommend to everyone.

I enjoyed the staff. They were pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. My suite was large and more like an apartment than hotel room. Guest were amazingly friendly and enjoyed conversation. The hotel is very close to Atlantis, less than a 10 minute walk. The only issue is the WiFi is sketchy at best. Overall, I would stay again if the price becomes a bit more affordable.

We stayed in a 2BR townhouse which was fabulous, we felt right at home. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning again soon.

The experience with this hotel was good. We walked around everywhere, its not on the beach but close enough to walk. Would perfer to stay closer to the beaches and restaurants. Its quite and peaceful at this hotel.

Good location and reasonable prices. 10 mins walk to the beach.

Nice hotel. Looks and feels more like a townhouse. Has a kitchen and living room. You get checked in by the security guard which I found was odd.. overall good place.

I love the room setting, location, walking distance to Atlantis, clean, good pool.

Very comfortable and friendly with 2 beautiful pools. Very good security. The open air cafe was casual and the food very good. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nice, good location, staff hard to find, spacious, not updated

The hotel is tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of Nassau. The property has perfect manicured grounds. I stayed in a 1 bed room suite; living room has a sofa, two chairs, 4 person dining sets, table and chairs with hard wire internet connection for work. The unit has full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans and plates and glasses. The bedroom has very comfortable king bed. The bathroom was nice and clean, stocked with supplies with great water temperature and pressure. The staffs are extremely nice and very helpful. The front desk has guard 24/7 and will call Taxi for you or make local calls free of charge. The property has a small restaurant open 8AM to 4PM which offers great breakfast and lunch options without going bankrupt. Property also have stable wireless internet connection as well. Property has no water view. The beach/restaurants and shops are 15 minutes walk.

We were very close to the Atlantis complex but we were in and out in less than 18hrs to catch our flight to one of the Long Island Bahamas. The accommodations were spacious with an efficiency kitchen- a good option if you are looking to stay near Atlantis without paying their prices.

This hotel needs to be badly updated. It is not Best Western standards

My experience was wonderful-will pass the good news,on to family, and friends.See you again. Catherine

Very nice and quite place. 5 min walk to Cabbage beach and atlantis towers.

Very nice, quiet, not crowd hotel. Everything was clean. Office attendance was very nice. Close to everything. Nice beach close to the hotel.

place is beautiful, clean, spacious and the staff couldnt be nicer. i would defiinitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to paradise island.

The suite was spacious and well furnished. Staff was friendly but the bar / restaurant on site was understaffed resulting in long waits for service. The walk to the public beach was longer than expected and there is no sight or sound of the ocean from the hotel. The beach was gorgeous but there are no restrooms available within a long walk. Be prepared for the local entrepreneurs who are selling everything constantly - a peaceful beach it is not, but bring your snorkeling gear - there is a reef about a 20 minute walk down the beach which has great oceanlife views of stingrays, barracuda and many colorful fish.
