Stayed here for my bachelorette party and it was so relaxing! It was sad to see trees down from the hurricane and the boardwalk was damaged, but everything was up and running not even two weeks after the hurricane!

Went with 2 adults and we had a wonderful time. We found the family pool very entertaining and the adult pool very relaxing. I can't wait to visit this hotel again!!!!

It is a beautiful hotel/resort! The water slides and lazy river kept the kids busy all day!

Great hotel with several swimming pools, beach access, several restaurants

The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. There are many pools and areas to relax. Staff were very helpful. They accept dogs for a fee of $150. Food options are great. I booked a massage and it was great. The spa area was relaxing. I was in heaven

Hotel is very nice but they need to do some upgrades for the money they charge

A great way to take a mini staycation. Hotel and staff were wonderful.

Staff is amazing and very helpful!! Very clean hotel. Everything you need from a resort is there. Great place to relax. One of the best places I have stayed at!! Would highly recommend hotel to Everyone .

Everything about this RESORT was amazing....its beautiful with beautiful pools, amazing food.....and even a private beach with a ferry boat to take u to it.... and the beach was very clean and nice. Soooo for sure I will be BACK. :)

We had a very nice experience at this property. Lots of great amenities; for us the most used were the boat shuttle to private beach, pools (including an adult only), wifi, easy self-parking with in-out access. Beautiful grounds. Our room also had a balcony, which seems like a rarity - in our travels, at least. On the negative side, I would say the room was not insulated from noise. I could hear our neighbors talking; at one point I heard their iPhone alarm go off. It seemed like we were privy to excessive noise from the hallway even though our room was NOT located near a heavily trafficked area (elevator bay, ice machine, etc.). Also, the schedule for the boat trips to the private beach left a little to be desired. I think the boat trips started at 9:45am and ran on the hour; the last trip returning to the Hyatt at 4:15. More frequent trips or, preferably, extending the hours for the last trip would give a little more bang for your buck, so to speak. I noticed that the private beach offered no amenities other than beach chairs, umbrella and a small building with restrooms. No snacks, food/drink, so pack a good beach tote like we did or bring a stocked cooler. However, overall we had a delightful little vacation at this property.

the views were nice, and the grounds are lovely. the staff is friendly and accommodating. i'd definitely stay here again.

Average size room with no minibar. Tarpon Bay Restaurant was excellent! No Comedy Channel so no Cobert/Stewart. Lap pool and beach were great.

we waited 2 hours to get our room and they forgot to come clean the room the second day. All else was very good

Spent Labor Day weekend there. The hotel was pretty much at capacity, but with 3 pools you hardly noticed. We went there with a young child, and this resort is very family-friendly with a beach entry pool for kids which has a 2-story winding water slide and a small slide for little ones. The adult-only pool was very nice too with a steel drum player adding to the atmosphere. We walked the boardwalk to their 15 minute boat ride to their beach. Both very nice. Smores at night by one of the 2 camp fires was great. Room was comfortable and staff was very professional and friendly. Our in-room fridge didn't work and they fixed it immediately. My only complaint was the price for poolside lunch, but it was expected since we were at a resort. Luckily there is a big outdoor mall 5 minutes away with many restaurant options. Mosquitoes and no-see-ums also an issue at night. It would be nice if they invested in a repellant system.

We picked this hotel based on a recommendation from Parents Magazine as being a great place to vacation with a baby. We were very pleased with the experience. The hotel provided a crib for free plus some toiletries. I realized after arriving that they offered many other free amenities like diaper pails, pool floaties, wipes, and other baby needs that would have simplified my packing if I had known. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to adjust the thermostat down successfully to our comfortable temperature of 66-68 degrees (which some hotels don’t seem to be able to reach or allow you to reach). The room had a balcony and a nice view, and the hotel provided a bottle of sparkling wine (the same offered at check-in) when they found out it was our anniversary (they also provided a free piece of key lime pie). There were ample plugs which is always nice to have, plus a mini fridge, a dvd player, and iPod dock. The staff were very friendly and prompt. The bell hops were courteous and delivered our luggage very promptly. When we called for checkout, they were up within minutes. The cleaning staff was also very responsive. We called for extra washcloths and they were also delivered promptly. We had one of the drawers break off the track on Memorial Day, and an engineer was up within minutes to fix the drawer and also adjusted the temperature on the mini fridge for us when we mentioned it didn’t seem cold enough. They had several pools, waterslides, and areas for kids to play. The kids’ pool was nice as it had a way to enter without steps similar to entering the ocean (graduated walk-in). Towels were provided, and there was a nearby area for cocktails and food (although it seemed to close a little early). The hotel had a private beach with a boat that took you to it every hour. We did see dolphins on the way to the beach which was nice. The boat ride was fun but it would have been nice if it ran more frequently. With a baby it’s hard to wait on the hot dock so long, and then only have the option to leave the island every hour with no real shelter or cooling area. The private island was lacking a bit in amenities, and the beach was a little rocky, but overall it was nice. They did provide chairs, umbrellas, and some beach toys for the kids. You were permitted to bring hotel towels, food and drinks with you. There were not a lot of dining options, but they were kid-friendly, and the food was very good. The room service menu could have been a little larger, but it was also very good. There was also a nice small market shop with snacks, ice cream, and Starbucks products in the lobby. You could pick up small food items there as well as a cooler for the beach. They had cute little bags containing s’mores kits (I’m assuming they provided a fire somewhere) that would have been fun with older kids. The hotel also had free self-parking as well as valet parking. Some of the self-parking was in a garage, so it was nice and cool. I believe there were fitness rooms, other activities, and even a lazy river in the adjoining timeshares that could be used, but we didn't try those with our little one. There was also a lot of shopping just outside of the resort and several chain restaurants. Overall we had a really nice time. The hotel was nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there were many thoughtful details to the property. The only things we would have enjoyed more is if the beach were at the hotel instead of 15 minutes away by boat, and if there were more dining options as well as a larger room service menu. But I would highly recommend this place to families as it was extremely accommodating. There were a lot of children and families there during our stay that seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely. We had a good time and a nice first trip to the ocean with our 8 month old.

Great Hotel for the kids. They really had a great time with the water slide and the lazy river. Very nice staff. Over all a nice place to stay.

We visited over spring break and the hotel was fully booked, which we thought might be an issue. It was quite the contrary! We were welcomed on arrival with a quick check-in process and glasses of champagne at the front desk. The bell-hops were cordial and brought our many bags to the room very quickly. The family pool was a big hit: Slides to accommodate both of our children, rental floats, water basketball, plenty of lounge chairs, towels available poolside, zero-depth entry area for the younger kids. The rock-climbing wall and putting green were also fun! Every night, there is a bonfire to make s'mores. There is a water taxi to the hotel's private beach, where there is plenty of room to play, lounge, collect shells, swim, etc. We had a great time at the Hyatt and will definitely be back!

We were in town for an event at a local restaurant and chose to stay at the Hyatt Regency, having experienced the lobby bar and the pool area on a previous occasion, and liked the comfortable luxury on offer. What a great choice, since our room on a corner site on the 13th floor was large, tastefully appointed and peaceful. The most comfortable bed, and the most spacious bathroom of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Great view from the balcony, too. Pity it was just one night but next time we'll definitely plan for a longer stay.

Very Good, but Hyatt book online prices were less than your price.

We have stayed here three times while visiting relatives. We love the location and the fact that it is overlooking a golf course. The bike riding is included and with Coconut shopping center only two miles away, it is perfect to bike there. Lots of good restaurants at Coconut Shopping center.
