Great stay!
The front desk staff were all nice and friendly. The hotel was really clean and the room l stayed in was real clean with an amazing view.
I had an awful experience. Had to pay extra for amenities that were not even available. Had to go out of my way to get key card reactivated several times. The bed was so uncomfortable, we woke up in agony everyday. There was absolutely no parking, had to park across the street and cross street with your luggage. Had to beg for clean towels and i had to go get them. Worse experience ever. Will not be returning!!!!
The property and the room was a little outdated. The pool and lounge area was quite small compared to other resorts in the area. Disappointed that the chairs around the pool were plastic. The receptionist space was small. The resort needs to be updated. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

It's a timeshare, which means you have to clean, take trash out if you don't want to get charged extra $75. First 'hotel' I've visited in my whole life, where they don't provide personal complimentary shampoo, soap or conditioner.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a spectacular view of the ocean. Very roomy. Very quiet.

We were looking for a quick getaway and had a budget. I am pretty particular about where I stay so there were several hotels that were not in consideration. I read several reviews and chose Schooners 2. Thankfully we had the beach to play in and other things into do because the pool was very small and left nothing to be desired. the location was great and we could walk to several of our must activities and being right on 21st made very easy to get to other destinations by car. Would we go back, probably but if you are into trying different hotels on the strip, give this a try.
We visited for the weekend and the property was a good value for what we were looking for - right on the beach. We did not use the pool - it didn't look that clean, but in fairness there was a new building going up right next door so there may have been dust, etc. coming over. We would use this property again.
we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. the location was close to all major attractions in Myrtle Beach, it was a fantastic place for us. staff was friendly, gym facilities were good.
Construction next door, very loud, room had awful smell, very old no amenities but close to walking everything.
The rooms were nice and clean, Starbucks across the street, and a fantastic view.
It was close to the convention center and attractions so we could walk if we wanted to do so. Being on the beach was convenient as well. The facility was well maintained. We decided we would come back to this facility if in the area again.
Was a very nice weekend away. Located right on the beach, the rooms were very nice with a full kitchen and pots, plates, cups, and silverware. Had toaster and blenders as well. There was also a jet bathtub in the room. As well as fully covered outdoor pool and jacuzzi, was very nice even when in the 40s outside. Can not wait to return
I was expecting a typical hotel room and what I found was so much more. Seeing beach right off my balcony was amazing and being right on the beach I would have expected to pay more especially during holiday weekend. Finding this room at this price showed me I was meant to go.
Clean fresh rooms , The friendly house keeping and management professionals are the same from year to year.. Newer furnishings , great comfortable beds. Great location, close to boardwalk , Broadway on the Beach , many resturants and the beach. My wife and I have stayed at several places in Myrtle Beach and this is by far our favoite. Can't wait to get back to Schooner II and the beach
This hotel was a wonderful surprise!! Everything about the place was fantastic! I would, and am, recommending this hotel to everyone! Perfect for couples thru large families!!
An enjoyable stay. Our room was clean, large and the kitchen complete. It was our best hotel in MYrtle beach so far. The pool is definitely small, but the direct access to the beach widely compensate. Complement parking lot across the street makes it easy. Recommended!

Thank you for staying with us at Schooner II on your recent visit to the area. I want to first off apologize for the issues you encountered here with us. With Covid-19, we are restricting some access to parts of the facility that may not allow proper social distancing. The exercise room and outdoor spa being among those. We do this to promote the health and safety of our guests as we do care deeply about your well being. We do have ample parking, most of which is located across the street from the building. We do encourage our guests to load and unload at the building as needed, then relocate the vehicle to a proper and designated area. We will look into the mattresses from the unit in which you stayed and we will also look into the service you and your guests received regarding the towel request. We have touched base via phone already and will work diligently to earn your trust to allow us to serve you again in the future.
