I have stayed in this hotel several times for work and this last time, I was disappointed. I booked as usual and asked for king room. Got in at 8pm, tired, and was put in a double queen at end of hall, which I thought might be nice and quiet on top floor. I was wrong. The room was a connecting room, and about 10pm when I was ready to collapse and sleep, I heard guests arrive in the room next to me. Could hear every thing! Sqeaky door in and out, even at 3am, someone coughing, talking. I had to switch beds in the middle of the night due to a very noisy bed that obviously had some problems - so maybe was a good thing I had 2 queens. I was too tired to call and change, but did not sleep well. I informed the front desk and she apologized and said she would be giving me extra points on my IHG acct which was very nice. I just hope they fix these issues.
My room was good. The construction was shoty in the bathroom. It wouldn’t take much effort to fix the problem. All in all I was satisfied. Joy was in charge of our breakfast each morning. She is an asset to HIE. She made sure that everyone had what they needed and was always very pleasant.
Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (olander ave) and was excellent.. Nicole at the front desk was always very pleasant.. the women who run the breakfast buffet are out of this world.. not only did they feed us an excellent breakfast they greeted us every morning with a big smile. Joy gave us a lot of information on touring. She was extremely helpful. Everything she suggested was really very good.they really went out of their way to help us..it was cleaned and everything was fully stocked towels were white as white can be.Holiday Inn Express never disappoints.. but this location was truly fabulous. Because of the staff..A1 service and attention to their clientele..
The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had two rooms and was very spacious. Will definitely stay there again. The area was perfect with all the “the things to do” surroundings. Breakfast was great. Kids had a wonderful time playing in the pool.
Hotel conveniently located across from massive Mustang show featuring hundreds of classic and new models this week. Variety of restaurants and watering holes within walking distance. Room was spacious and well equipped with fridge, microwave and Keurig. Staff friendly and courteous. Nice outdoor pool. Short distance, only few blocks, from the beach.
My wife and I spent an extended weekend (Friday-Tuesday) here and found the location was convenient to everything. There are many good restaurants near the hotel; the beach is about a mile and a half away. Highly recommend.
Only complaint is we had bugs in our room which I personally didn’t like to see especially in one if the nicest hotels of holiday inn Express that we have ever stayed at. On a plus note the staff was very friendly and helpful Yes I will be back regardless of what I have seen.
Stayed here while on vacation with my family . Staff was very friendly . We met Nicole at the front desk and she was very nice , informative about the area & helpful if we needed anything . Our room was clean and comfortable & the pool and hot tub were great . Free breakfast every morning and housekeeping was helpful . Convenient location , walking distance to Broadway on the Beach and a short drive to the Myrtle beach . Had a great stay and will definitely return in the future .
We stayed here for 4 days. The hotel appear to be fairly new, nice and clean. If you need anything, all you need to do is ask and they are there to assist. I actually enjoy how nice the staff were and find that greeting me upon entering was actually nice. My room was clean, the bed linen was very soft, the bath towels were soft and fluffy too. There is an outdoor pool and jacuzzi along with pool towels. There was nothing to shelter you from the sun but there are lounging chairs and tables available. Free breakfast every morning which was good. The hotel is not located on the beach so you will need to drive there because the hotel does not have a shuttle bus. The drive is not that far. We enjoyed are stay but I did notice that parents were not keeping a watchful eye on their kids. While at the pool, one parent asked if I would watch their child while they went to the jacuzzi. I politely said I couldn't.
My family and I stayed there for 3 nights, July 14th-16th. What great front desk and dining room personnel. They couldn’t do enough for you. The room was recently updated and kept so clean by the housekeepers. It was Conveniently located to both Broadway at the Beach and the great restaurants and beach. Would certainly recommend to others!
