Lobby and rooms under renovation. Paint smells and dust. Should have been told ahead on booking. Would have gone by elsewhere.

The hotel was undergoing renovations which caused some minor quirks, but the staff was nice and the available amenities not being worked on were good. The free breadfast was definitely good during our stay. The location was good based on the activities we (Wife, Grandson) were most interested in. Restaurants, stores, fueling stations were also easy to get to. Based on what we were told about the renovation efforts & staff we would be interested in going to the hotel again.

I arrived at 5:30 and was told the room wasn't ready yet. Went to dinner and. The room still wasn't ready. Waited 10 more minutes then they switched me to another room, but forgot to change the keys. Had to come back down for that. This was after driving 10 hours.

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn! The previous weekend I was in Myrtle for a dance convention and the oceanside hotel we stayed at had bed bugs!! My worst nightmare. The holiday inn is right across from the planet Hollywood and other inland attractions. Beds were clean and most importantly bug free!! Staff is friendly'

Location was excellent. Parking was great. Easy access to dining. The staff was very nice & hospitable.

The room was great, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean with everything you need! I will be using Holiday Inn Express hotels again.

I selected this hotel because it said it was at Briadway at the Beach, however it actually involved much more walking to get there than we expected. A drive over worked better, which defeated the whole purpose of the selection. The room was nice. Clean. Definetly needed more help. One person on the front counter with a line if people waiting to check in at 4:00, and she was answering phones and trying to hold two conversations almost the whole time!

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel, we really enjoyed it, the first time we stayed there (a year ago) there were no mini fridges in the rooms now there are mini fridges in the rooms. All the employees are nice and friendly always saying good morning or welcome back after a day out. This hotel is close to resturants, shopping and night life, the ocean is a 5 minute drive away.

The hotel staff was really nice. The hotel has a nice pool and hot tub and it was right across from Broadway at the Beach. We could walk there and to a bunch of other places. It wasn't super close to the beach, but that was fine with us! The only thing that was aggravating was that our hotel cards stopped working multiple times, so we had to keep getting new cards to get into our room.

I was pleased with the appearance, overall cleanliness and ammenities the hotel had to offer. I was glad that there was a daily continental breakfast with coffee and newspaper -- my husband is a late sleeper, so there was a nice place for me to begin the day without waking him. We travel with our 2 Boston Terriers and the hotel was very accomodating and even had treats at the front desk for the girls! There was a minimal pet fee of $10 per day (that covered both girls) but not to exceed $50 for the entire trip. The only blip was when we arrived and were placed in a room with 2 full size beds -- we reserved a room with a king bed on the website. I asked the front desk about moving us the next morning and they said they would not -- they told me that by booking through the discount website I had agreed to take whatever room was available upon my arrival. I called the website customer service and they contacted the front desk and I was moved into a room with a king bed the next day when it became available. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay but when we were charged twice for the room. Upon checking out we were charged by the hotel even though we had already paid thru an online agency.

I had a really good time and my stay at the hotel was really comfortable. The breakfast was hot and made things a lot easier for the family.

My stay was horrific, we asked for a non smoking room (which they claimed was all non smoking) and ended up in a room that had been a smoking room. It smelled of smoke and was unbearable. The hotel fought with me, they were rude, disrespectful and unaccommodating. The only solution they provided was to either put us on the street with our money and no room (at midnight) or to put us in a different room that the lock was broken off of the door (the door wouldn't even close.) We were promised to move rooms the next day but they put us in a smaller, more noisy room without any compensation for that inconvenience. Our trip was ruined because of the frustration we had with the staff and management.

We stayed three nights. The room was comfortable and clean, the location was great - just across from the major nightlife venues, and the choice/quantity available for breakfast was great.

This hotel is quite a drive from the ocean. It is however located near shops and restaurants. No fridge or microwave in the rooms. While we were there the hotel was replacing the carpet in the hall on the floor where we were staying. The workers would stop and stare whenever we were coming and going. When I requested that we be moved to another floor I was told no. They said I had a discounted rate anyway and acted like I should be ok with the construction. The staff at this hotel is the rudest that I have ever encountered, including the hotel manager.

The hotel facilitues were very nicely maintained and in working order. Room was clean and looked to be recently remodeled. Noise however was a factor as a dog was barking in a room nearby along with loud talking and banging in the hallways and adjacent room. Overall though it was OK.

I stayed two nights. The hotel is close to the area attractions, the service was outstanding and the free breakfast and wireless was a plus.

Misleading name. More than a mile and a half from the beach. Floors and rugs stained and dirty. No amenities such as a small refrigerator, microwave etc. We paid significantly less in the previous hotel on this trip and were more satisfied.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and inviting. If I had one complaint, it was that there was only one chair for the small table and an office chair. It would have been nice to have a love-seat or small sofa. Other than that, it was really great.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel, we really enjoyed it, the first time we stayed there (a year ago) there were no mini fridges in the rooms now there are mini fridges in the rooms.
