Paint pealing, molding in bathroom was terrible looking. Mirror was off the wall. Girl that checked me in was sick. Pools were cold and hot tubs were way to hot this time. Indoor pump did not work. We use to love this place.

my experience.first room i stayed in was not a remodeled room, but it was clean and decent. The second room I stayed in was absolutely beautiful very clean very comfortable. The third room that I had to move to was absolutely disgusting. I checked out of that room and went back to my sister-in-law‘s room, and I politely complained.

Decent stay, but would not recommend

We booked one of the nice newly renovated suites. He arrived late because of our flight so we think they gave away our room. We were so shocked to enter the room. They gave us with it being nothing what we had reserved. The room was extremely old, decor was horrible and the bed was on stilts. We went back down immediately and told him this was not the room we had reserved and they basically said too bad. We have nothing else available. It was so incredibly upsetting and completely not worth what we paid. We went back down the next morning to speak with a manager and told her the situation and provided her photos with what we reserved. After a long day Of waiting for our new room, we were able to get the nice room that we had reserved. But a whole day and a half was wasted, and no special accommodations or credits were given highly disappointed and would not recommend. The HOA does not keep up with the maintenance whatsoever. The building, the paint, rails etc are so old and rusty. It’s almost embarrassing for the resort.

My husband and I went for 3 nights to have a getaway. The room was very nice. The bed was so comfortable and the view was nice that you could see from the bed. It was convenient to have Starbucks in hotel. We at from the restaurant and the wings were so good.

We had a couple hiccups in our condo but I would definitely stay there again! The view was nice and 99% of the staff was amazing, not going to let one person ruin our time!

This was our stove when we checked in but we just had to wipe it off.

I WILL be back

The resort was on the beach! My room…beach view on the 14th floor, need I say more? Ok I will! It was clean, fully equipped with more than enough towels, cups, plates, utensils, pot, pan! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had nice appliances, and again the view! If I had to complain about something it would be parking; although you have the option of 3 buildings to park at, you may not be able to find a spot in the same building as your room (I didn’t have that problem tho🙌). I hate that I didn’t stay longer than I did.

Refrigerator, sink w/a lil counter space and stove plus microwave

Tub/shower. All these towels and housekeeping came everyday

On the way home now and overall had a great stay. Housekeeping was a challenge at times. We had to ask for towels every day and asked for a midweek room clean that didn’t happen. There was just one small trash can in the bathroom that stayed full. We had to keep running to the hallway trash can. The room had a really strong paint smell from the dressers that had just been painted. The drawers didn’t close properly either and just stayed open lol A week is a long time without a room being swept especially at the beach. Otherwise we really enjoyed the property and the pools. Check in was easy and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Woulda been excellent with some housekeeping attention!

The hotel was OK, the pools were nice. They had a bunch the air conditioner in our room. Wasn’t that great. There were a lot of big cockroaches. I seen in the picture. Here was too that my kids killed beside of each other. They were on the outsides of the hotel. We did not see any in the rooms. Hotel staff was nice. Breakfast buffet was pretty good.

On the beach but not fully renovated

While there is a nice newer part of the hotel that is not where we were stay away from first floor low profile building it is old run down with issues like mold and popcorn ceiling falling down . Staff was very nice pools are small but there are a lot of them! Right on the beach so how much can you really complain?

I stayed at Compass Resort Hotel in Myrtle Beach for 3 nights and 4 days. Unfortunately, my stay was not what I expected for the price. The bathroom vanity was clogged, and the coffee maker only worked if I held down the power button the entire time. Housekeeping was very limited — towels were changed and bathroom supplies replaced, but the room itself was not cleaned during my stay. I understand some hotels adjust service for short stays, but for 4 days, I expected at least basic cleaning, and this was not mentioned on the website. They advertise two restaurants, but the main restaurant was only open for the morning buffet, which was disappointing. Overall, the experience did not feel worth the money, and I would likely choose a different property next time

Room was not clean. The sofa was stained, the cover on the sofa bed was stained. Only provided 1 blanket. Had to walk to the front office to get bedding for the pullout and sofa bed. The blanket that they provided was as thin as the sheets. The pots provided were dirty. You had to request them to open the waterslide. However, the kids did enjoy the pool and the slides.
