We enjoyed our stay love that its few steps to the beach and we had a nice balcony ocean front view Perfect place for family with kids. Highlights are the many pool in this resort I counted more than a dozen. Wish there are more food or restaurant selection And breakfast cafe have limited hrs also the coffee shop has limited hrs . Would help if they’re open all day. Our room was very clean comfty bed.

Newly renovated trim on elevators #1 and #3 on the 14th floor were cut and installed wrong making for a Extremely jagged edge that sticks up about ¼ inch, dont throw trash away while getting on the elevators. The hotel doesn't seem to care that a paying guest sliced his finger wide open.

Property is outdated but loved that there are multiple pools and beach access. Many things to do on and off the property and close to the boardwalk.

Convenience and proximity of oceanfront was great. Lots of luggage carts were available. We stood in line for an hour to check in. Not great. Overall very good.

The place over all is very nice the staff is good the room was clean. The biggest problem we had was getting checked in did not appear to have much order and our room wasn't ready at 4:00 o'clock so they said it would be ready in about an hour and they would text us when ready I never got a text so there is no telling when my room was ready, I also heard several other issues on checking in other then that we didn't have any trouble

Facility was well kept and swimming areas are nice and relaxing, but A/C’s need replaced. Our 2 bedroom had 2 A/C’s and 1 did not work and the other sounded like it was going to quit working at any moment. We was there for a whole week and housekeeping never emptied trash, cleaned room or replaced anything that was used. Everything was on us basically

My family and i absolutely enjoyed staying at Compass Cove. I have 3 children (ages 5,7&9) & between the beach, pools, lazy river & water slides(which were a blast! Yes even for me, an adult ;) they stayed busy & had fun all while never having to leave the resort. Access to the beach from the resort, was super easy & just a short walk. We only left to when we needed food...there is a small Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby which was a plus, as well a restaurant there in the hotel. Our room was great, great view. I didnt need anything from room service during our 4 day/3night stay, however..i took away 1 star due to us having a difficult time receiving help from the maids when needing toilet paper, the trash removed and dirty towels/wash clothes taken away & replaced with new ones..these things i (or my husband) were having to reach out & ask for(multiple times). When we did find a maid to ask for help(with 1 of the thing i just listed) there was a language barrier, she didn't understand english well so communication was very difficult when trying to ask for something simple...but that didnt ruin our time staying there, so we will definitely be coming back to stay again!!

Poor communication/over charged

I paid for an ocean front suite and when we got there they had over booked and moved my room to an ocean view side, yet told me it was still Ocean front. And I was charged for ocean front when I did not receive it. Normally this hotel is great to be at with great communication, but the check in process was a long and slow 45 min-1 hr wait in line and then they downgraded my room without telling me until I got to the room and saw for myself.

I was very disappointed with the check-in experience. Although check-in was supposed to start at 4:00 PM, we didn’t get our room until after 6:00 PM. We had to wait in a long, crowded line, and the staff at the front desk were unhelpful and dismissive. I was traveling with my family and a small child after a long trip from another state, and this was not the welcome we expected. The poor communication, delay, and rude attitude from some of the staff made the start of our stay very stressful and frustrating. This experience needs to be addressed so future guests don’t go through the same.
