Room had holes in bathroom door. No coffee and silverware at breakfast

We had 3 rooms reserved, booked and paid for. we presented the 3 confirmation numbers and they told us they only had 2 rooms and couldn't find the third. they said there was nothing they could do. Didn't call anyone, try to make other arrangements or anything. Just said we are booked sorry.

The front desk, the maids, even down to the guy serving breakfast just went out of their way to be rude. I honestly thought i was being Punk'd. Also, the bed was like sleeping on concrete with a memory foam mattress topper. It was obviously the same mattresses from when the place opened because I feel confident there has never been any remodeling or upgrading of anything there.

Not like this hotel. Stayed at many Embassy(S) years past, very please. Did'nt like location of hotel. charge parking, To many added fees plus taxes alone with the room rate didn't measure up to the overall satisfaction I have experience. The hotel is in serious need of a update and facelift. I am very disappointed, to begin with my room was okay but not as clean as it should. My bathroom has the toilet seat up, the roll in shower chair outside of shower sitting right in front of toilet seat. Mold in top of shower, that was very distrubing for the fact that I have COPD already, shower floor look some what questionable. We were given an upgrade supposedly. The only different was we were move from the fourth to the eighth floor, which is call the premium floor where this room has a walk in shower with a half glass door. This room did not have a joining door to a next room and it has differ snacks that could be purchase. The furniture was uncomfortable especially the sofa bed. There was not enough bath towels for four people, we call for more, never receive them. Breakfast okay, beacon taste old, grits has lumps. So very disappointed, have has much better at other locations. Don't mind paying if the product is good. We has two room, my married grandson's bath tub was dirty in his room, they did send some one up to clean it. I would recommend this if ask but would not suggest it on my own. It just not what you would expect if you have stayed at others especially Texas

The hotel is in need of a renovation. The rooms were very worn out. The rooms need to be repainted, need new bedding, and bathroom updates.

Everything was great except when ordering from room service, I was looking forward to a nice steak and it was sold out along with a few other items from the menu. Finally had to settle on quesadillas which is far from a juicy steak.

Stopped here on the way to FL. Great hotel for the money and in a great location close to the highway

It was very nice . I felt safe and very relaxed. I came for a friends graduation and post celebratiom. The staff was extremely inviting, even the vallet guys! I slept like an infant. Everything was awesome. Great drink special for happy hour as well

Room was in need of an overhaul. Carpet ripped bedding old. Staff was awful beyond awful. As I guest I felt like I was more of an bother than I valued customer.

The staff was awesome! I enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi which I rarely do on business trips. Daily happy hour was nice. Warm, relaxing, peaceful atrium provide a great public place to chill out and make new friends. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Needs urgent renovation, very low quality buffet, good location.

Great value for this price Large rooms Good breakfast

This is a definite reflection on the GM, Sony because we did not encounter one staff member that was kind, from the front door, to the 2 hour wait for checkin, to the phoned front desk- all were unkind and lacked manners. You would think this hotel would step it up with the nice Marriott across the street. Our bathroom was not very clean either.

Basicly a lovely stay; but one of the personnel was incompetent. I waited at the airport for an hour for the shuttle (which was one reason I had picked Embassy Suites). The lady forgot to tell the driver! The waitress I had for lunch brought me hot water for tea, and the teabag 10 minutes later. However, all other personnel were very helpful.

I booked this room because of the good reviews that I read on Orbitz, but was very disappointed on my trip. Upon first entering my room, I noticed water staining on parts of the ceiling. Then, as I tried to take a shower, I realized that I could not get hot water. The hotel sent up a facilities worker and our hot water was restored within a half hour. In the meanwhile, I noticed several other problems with the room, including: several lamps did not actually have lightbulbs, we were only left with about 1/4 roll of toilet paper, and the sheets were stained/dirty! I've ranked this hotel a 2, despite the terrible experience with my room, because the hotel breakfast and common areas were quite nice.

The staff, except the omelet chef, was superb!! The breakfast was still exceptional. However, the shower head was not secure, had water all over the bathroom, it was fixed the second day. There was a big hole in our bathroom door and the bar that serves as the safety lock on the main door was ripped off. We just placed a chair in front of the door as added safety. We had a very pleasant stay overall.

Kudos to Embassy Suites in Montgomery for their courteous and accommodating staff. However, the down side was the cleanliness and the lack of attention requested from housekeeping regarding a few things in the suite that did not work. The entire hotel had a slight odor of dirt. Perhaps it was a residual odor from the open restaurant in the atrium or the food served in the mornings, but it permeated the air even in the rooms. The outside of the windows needed washing as the dirt impeded the view. In addition, the requests for a remote control that worked properly was ignored. The courtesy and helpfulness of the staff almost made these things superfluous. Would I stay there again? Yes, I suppose I would, as the options in Montgomery are limited. One upside was that Embassy Suite guests have access to the Capital City Club for dining. This is an experience no one should miss who loves elegance and great food.

The hotel was very accommodating in spite of all the remodeling. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The air-conditioning never worked the first night and it was impossible to sleep due to the heat and humidity in the room. I had the Building Engineer perform the appropriate repair on the unit the following evening only to have it fail again at 1 in the morning. Again, too hot to sleep. Loved the breakfast and the happy hour. Personnel were all very nice and the room was clean and as promised with the exception of the AC unit. The hotel was all booked out so I could not be moved to a room where the air-conditioned was operating.

My husband and I have stayed at the Embassy Suites in downtown Montgomery at least a dozen or more times. This visit last Wednesday night will be our last. When my husband and I went to the sink (in the bathroom) to brush our teeth, a cockroach was running around in the sink. Unacceptable at any hotel; the paint around the doors was peeling, and overall in need of maintenance. The hotel is nothing like it used to be.
