Very organized and staff was very friendly!!! This hotel was close to shops and restaurants.
Rooms were big and spacious, but the bathroom was dirty, found body hair in the shower, and the beds were hard as rocks, sleeping on the floor would have been just as good. the pool closes way early. Our air conditioner made noise like it wanted to work but never really got the room cool. The breakfast there was close to being not edible, powdered milk, nasty gravy and what tasted like imitation sausage, plus the waffle maker was broken for several days with no fixing insight. Was glad we were only passing through and not having to stay any longer than we did.
Room smelled like smoke...noise from upstairs...paperthin walls...noisey hall...dirty tub...and the nastiest breakfast i ever had in a hotel....never again will i stay in the chain.
The room doors seem programmed to slam shut. You will hear doors slamming shut all night long. You will also hear every word spoken in the hallways -- all night long. Bring ear plugs. The building and rooms and furniture are a bit worn. The only positive at this hotel is a really pleasant staff.
My brother and I stayed at this hotel while in town for a training class. It wasn't too far from where our class was being held so that was helpful. There were a few things about the hotel that I thought could use improvement however. The first night we got there I needed an extra blanket and pillow. I went to the front desk to ask for one and was told to double check all the drawers in my room because there were no extras in storage. I thought that was odd. I did find what I needed in the room. The pillow was quite small but it worked. In the morning we went to the lounge area where they served breakfast. There was a decent selection of food but the chairs were need of reupholstering. They were stained and ripped and weren't very attractive for a "main" area of the hotel. When we returned that night from our class, we arrived to the front desk attendant with a group of her friends at the lounge area passing a half smoked cigarette back and forth. They were apparently going to step outside, which is fine, and I understand that this was the night shift but still not very professional to come back to. Overall the hotel was average but not really worth $70+ a night in my opinion.
Two years ago we stayed at this hotel for the first time and I wrote it a glowing review. We were delighted with our stay. This year, however, we had the exact opposite experience. Our "non-smoking" room smelled like a stale ashtray. It might have been from it's location, it appeared that most of the other rooms were smoking rooms. The comforter in the room was clean but had a cigarette burn in it. The key card for the door was constantly going bad. The third floor window did not have a safety catch on it to limit how far it would open....defiantly not good for small kids. The indoor pool was clean but way too cold. The breakfast was simple but acceptable (the woman making the food was as nice as she could be!). The desk staff, however, needs a lot more training in courtesy. All in all it wasn't a bad stay but the extra money paid above what other nearby hotels charge just wasn't worth it. We're going to look for another option next year.
it was o k nothing special, needs some remodeling alright for a older hotel. Not worth the amount we paid for it.
