Dirty room, no screen on 3rd floor window, fridge inoperable and no offer to fix or replace, old and disgusting furniture, no network channels on TV, and they put us at the end of the longest hallway away from exit on 3rd floor with our pet. Pet friendly??? No one at front desk for at least 15 minutes with a Lobby full of people! Dirty shower and very uncomfortable bed! dONE with Quality Inns or any Choice hotels. Ridiculous!!!!

My husband arrived at Quality Inn on March 5, 2017. He is taking his dental board licensing exam in Mobile Alabama and was suppose to stay at the Quality Inn for 5 nights. When he arrive to the Quality Inn he had saw there was some broken glasses in the parking lot which looked like a car was broken into on their property. He made sure to park very close to the entrance of the Inn. At that point he was pretty skeptical about this stay. He had checked in around 7 p.m.. and tried to log onto their free wifi which was listed in their main amenities. He wasted 2 valuable hours to log onto their so call free wifi. It was urgent because he had to go online in order to study for his exam. He also went to the front desk to find a solution on how to get the wifi working. The front desk couldn't get it working. So then my husband contacted me since I was the one who booked the reservation through hotels.com. I call hotels.com and had him switch to another hotel that has working wifi. So by that time my husband only stayed at the Inn for about 2.5 hours. I was notify by Hotels.com that Quality Inn is the one who is responsible to give my refund back because I had paid now when I made the reservation and on my credit card statement it showed Quality Inn is who received my money. Melissa, the manager at this location will not contact me. I have called numerous times to speak to her but she seems to be never there. Her customer service is awful. She needs to go to a customer service training in hotel management. She will never go beyond where she's at now with this kind of customer service. The reservation I had is non-refundable but Quality the Inn did not hold on their end to have all of their main amenities available to the paying customers. Because of their non working free wifi it was inconvenient and the cause of breaking the reservation. When the Quality Inn list things on their site that is available to the customer at all times, it is their responsibility to make sure things are up and running as it should be. A customer shouldn't be penalized by their mistakes.

Dirty furniture, chewed up tables by previous pet occupants, lights burned out, leftover food in the microwave, bugs in my shoe the next morning... There was so much that happened there it is overwhelming. Spoke with the manager who promised to get back with us and never attempted to do anything. This place looked like it had seen massive casualties from fights. One heating and air unit had been hit with either a sledgehammer or a very hard head was previously embedded into it. The next had no protective grating from the fan. Finally after 2 contacts with corporate, who tried to call the hotel 3 times each call without an answer, I got a partial refund. This hotel is seriously understaffed. One lady trying to make breakfast for the guests and running the front desk. It is conveniently located near a Walmart and has easy access to many attractions.

Right in the heart of downtown mobile. Very comfortable and quiet. Great access to all the area, including Battleship Park and Convention Center. Friendly and helpful staff. I'll stay there each time I go to the Mobile Bay area.

On a 35 degree night the heater did not work in the room. Even after putting the heater on 89 degrees all night. The phone in the room didn't work nor the refrigerator. And to top it all off the heated indoor pool is surrounded by sliding glass doors of which the majority were not sealed so the temperature in the heated pool area was right about 35 degrees. Requested new room and pulled out the sofa sleeper in the new room which was literally infested with sunflower seeds ! By this time it was so late at night after a road trip to get there comma and 3 and see preteen boys we decided to stay in tough it out. Couldn't wait to check out in the morning. The only saving grace to the stage was the front desk clerk Angela with no service guy on call did the best you could do. I do plan to contact Choice. Once the morning came and the manager showed up comma she left me standing there for 15 minutes before she came out to the desk to resolve my complaints

The first night I thought this was very nice, but the 2nd day the maid did not come so I had no towels, soap, etc. I could not even shower before check out. The front desk was not at all helpful. The breakfast service person was rude.

Hotel had the potential to be great. I even managed the super cold hot tub and pool. But the lady (Pat) who runs the continental breakfast is the meanest employee I have ever run into at a hotel. Yesterday I asked if there was anymore coffee. Instead of an answer she went into the kitchen and started throwing things around. This morning I came down for breakfast at 6am. There were 3 other people eating. I put my food on my plate as she seen then she told me 4 times in a row that breakfast wasn't til 6:30. I asked her if she wanted me to put it back and she mumbled under her breath. I told her this was the second day in a row she has been rude to me. She then went around whispering to the two other employees. Then...about 6 other guests arrived and filled their plates. I asked her why she isn't saying something to them. She wouldn't talk to me. Manager yesterday told me to write a review. So this is it.

The staff was very friendly here and the breakfast was ok, the positives end there. The room was the grossest place I've ever stayed. The air conditioner was moldy and rusty and made the room humid and not cold at all... I'm pretty sure I may have mold in my lungs, my demise is surely inevitable. Above the window over the A/C there was a large hole in the dry wall, also moldy and gross looking. None of the wall hooks were functional, and the light over the bathroom sink didn't work so I got ready in the dark every morning. I probably showed up at orientation looking like a mentally ill clown. The bathroom smelled horrible, some critter may have met his demise in there. One of the ceiling lights was missing, there was another large hole in the ceiling and the tile the shower curtain was attached to was ready to fall at any moment.... probably to end its life and get out of that bathroom. One night I came and got in the shower and had fleas on my feet, if you allow pets you should probably invest in some pest control. And my favorite, I don't think the bed linens had been changed from the previous guest. When I pulled back the sheets the bed was full of what I really hope (fingers crossed) was a man's leg hair. Save your money and stay some where else.

Everything was very clean. We had a very refreshing night of sleep for the day of traveling ahead. Will be coming back. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. I will recommend this location to everyone.
