The location was okay but the layout was tight. Our room was on a corner near the pool and the noise from the area was VERY LOUD! Also, there was an adjoining room and kids were in there and it was just awfully loud with them stomping around and knocking on the door and jumping on the bed... I know that was not the responsibility of the property or the management but the people were, I don't know, horrible!

The woman that was serving breakfast because of the Covid rules was the most polite and wonderful woman that I have met on my whole trip. After talking to her for the brief time that my family was getting breakfast you could feel that your day was going to be better because of her.

Was close to where I needed to be. Check in clerk was rude, unhelpful and a poor example of a caring employee.

Blackout curtains that don’t close and a huge light shining in the window all night kept us up no sheets for the sofa bed and only three towels in a room that sleeps 5 costs several trips down to the front desk no air conditioning in the hallways and breakfast staff guarding the dollar little Debbie muffins rationing them out to all 7 guests in the hotel as if it was the middle of the Great Depression
Booked hotel 2 weeks in advance. Had a Mardi Gras ball to attend. At check in discovered they gave my room to someone else. The front desk wasn’t sure what happened, she then asked me to walk to room 222, knock on the door, and see if anyone was in there. Said she working alone and didn’t have time. So after an hour they miraculously found a room, even though they was sold out. So we was 1 1/2hr-2 hr late, missed first part of ball and the walk out for everyone in Krewe. And the front desk attendant actually thought it was rude that I said I wasn’t going to knock on some random individuals room to see if someone was there, like it was my fault.
No major complaints. Staff was friendly, good amenities and fair price.

Orbitz did not have our reservation there the HEI claimed. The receptioness claimed there was no record in her computer even though I had a printed conformation. Later we told by Orbitz that they didn't take American Express--well, so why did you Orbitz make the reservation with my AMEX card. Won't stay there again.
There were dirty sheets and towels in the hall that where there overnight that could have been a fall hazard.
When I went to check in the lady at the desk was less than friendly. She seemed to be annoyed that she had to check me in. The facility for being remodeled in the last year definitely has not been up kept well. Our room was average for being clean. Went to the pool and it was average. Had to go ask for pool towels and again the lady was not happy I was asking for towels. The next morning breakfast was standard for an Express. The lady bringing food out was very polite and friendly. When checking out that morning the man at the desk was accommodating and helpful. I do not recommend this place because it's not well kept up and I had a man beginning for money outside our hotel. That should explain the type of area it's located in.
Appeared very nice upon arrival, however our first night there was a lot of bumping going on from upstairs, I slept but my wife's sleep was interrupted most of the night. The second evening upon returning to our room our door was ajar, nothing was missing but that was very disturbing. I reported this matter to the staff via telephone as well as the bumping that continued the second night. I cannot see myself staying at this facility again.
