We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is very well maintained and in a great area. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Every employee we encountered was courteous, helpful and friendly.
Robin Perkins, General Manager, and Byron greeted me upon checking in. First impression was clean, spacious and the property is tucked away from the interstate but conveniently close to the mall, Sam's club, and restaurants. It is off I-65 and just a few miles from I-10. The room was very spacious and clean. High comfortable beds, with a couch, and the a/c worked well. This property is not located directly off the highway which makes it very quiet and comfortable in getting a good nights sleep! It is tucked away about a half mile from I-65. The breakfast buffet consisted of egg whites along with regular scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, juice, etc. The staff mentioned above was very friendly, professional and courteous. They made me feel very welcome and comfortable. This property has an indoor pool and a 24 hour wellness center. I will definitely come back to this location if in the area!
I stayed here on business. Excellent property with very professional and friendly staff. One morning I saw a guest and her dog in the elevator. The property waived the no pet policy during the Hurricane Irma evacuation. WELL DONE!
One night stay while passing through Mobile. The hotel was easy to get to. Room and overall hotel were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection Was better than average. I do recommend this hotel.
Booked 2 rooms on our way to Gulf Shores so we would have a short drive there on Saturday and were not disappointed. Check in went without any issues and rooms were very clean. The breakfast is better than others with a big variety of items. The lady running the kitchen during our stay was great. She was constantly watching for items that were out and kept the tables clean. She was also very friendly as were all the staff. Only reason for not giving a 5 was the beds which were very hard. We all woke up with backs hurting but in fairness to the hotel..we sleep on Temperpedic mattress at home so our backs have gotten used to that. Our little kids slept fine with no noise in the rooms at all....very quite rooms. Also, the pool is tiny and I mean tiny, not much bigger than a hot tub so don't count on a lot of swimming. We would definitely stay here again though.
My wife and I arrived on Sunday, June 11 in the early evening after a tiring 700 mile drive. We had to be careful walking in the lobby and to the elevator since people didn't seem to know that they should dry off before leaving the pool. That was a slip and fall danger. Our room was nice enough...the usual for Holiday Inn. I had an issue when trying to connect to the internet. A card on the desk indicated to look for "Holiday Inn Express" and connect, however, I couldn't find it. I finally figured out that "IHG" was the correct connection. That card should be changed to avoid confusion. After dinner and a little TV, we got to sleep. Around midnight I was awaken by loud voices in the hallway. I opened the door and noticed two young men arguing and shoving each other. They were extremely loud and I couldn't understand why hotel staff could not hear them. I phoned the front desk and the two were quiet a short time later. We left in the morning....still tired. I marked "average" since I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to the hotel in this situation. Normally I would have rated them lower.
We stayed here on our way to Florida. The hotel is a former Comfort Suites, which means all rooms are either king or 2 queen suites. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Location is off I-65 Exit 4 on Springdale Road.
My wife and I stayed here 5 days on a business trip. We were pleasantly surprised by the staff, front desk, dining area, maids, and manager and owners for how pleasant and helpful they were at numerous levels. The exercise room was clean, adequate, equipment functioning, and breakfast offered was above average. We requested a quiet room away from the hustle and bustle and they did so for us. Byron, at the front end was awesome! Thank you! We'll be back.
We stayed here for two nights on part of our road trip around the Deep South and I can't fault anything! The room was well-sized and clean, the wifi was strong, the complimentary breakfast choice was plentiful and all the staff were friendly. It is a little way out of Mobile but it was next to a shopping area with a good selection of restaurants a short drive away and just off the interstate. Overall, a good choice of hotel which suited our requirements.
Spent one night here on business and found the place to be very nice with an extremely friendly staff. The entire hotel was very clean and an oasis within an area of lesser choices. Pros Clean Good location Walking distance to Cracker Barrel, Wal-Mart Strong WiFi Excellent TV channel choices If I am in the area will definitely return.
